ASHINA

Grimacing while listening to their talks and plans, I loathed them more and more. They are planning for the downfall of Garth and mine, but sorry to them, for nothing if what they are scheming will happen. Never again! Not in this Life!

I checked the time on my phone and found it was getting late. The waiting ceremony for the blood moon to show is definitely starting now. Dad is probably looking for me and even Garth, who wants to reject me. Oh goddess!

“I want to make Garth like me,” Jenella said viciously, making my eyes widen. She really has a thick face saying that.

I pursed my lips In controlled emotion as I remembered how Jenella killed Dad. That's it. Because I trusted her, I never suspected her even though I had noticed something wrong. Or maybe the doubts were there but because I value her help for me to be with Charles, I thought of her as my confidante, my most trusted one.

“You know I always follow your plan, Jenella. And yeah…come to think of it. I like the thought of me being the alpha of two packs and you my Luna.”

That's it, and the two both kissed and had their release again. I moved discreetly, and the moment I ran to the area where I got the shirt, I transformed into my wolf form and left Charles' place.

I ran and ran until I came to the ceremony. My eyes looked for Garth and saw him there. I transformed and everybody gasped, seeing my naked human body form. Garth immediately gave me his jacket. I smiled seeing Garth's concerned gesture. He still cares.

“Don't reject me tonight.” I held Garth's hand. “Just give me a chance first….” I whispered the words to him while he covered me with his jacket.

His bluish-grey eyes stared at me intensely looking for the sincerity of my words. He seemed in a trance for some seconds, then removed his gaze from me.

“Please….”

Garth looked for his pack and gestured to them for something. Before I knew what it was, they left afterward.

I gulped as the pain of having no assurance for me and Garth was still in the atmosphere. But the thing he covered my naked body tonight made my heart hopeful. I aspire… and wish for a beautiful ending for both of us to be together as destiny decided.
