Chapter 6

(Jordan’s POV)
After all the awkwardness, we sat on the edge of my bed talking for awhile about important decisions for our future. I knew this was something we had to talk to about especially with Jonathan being the future Alpha. It was odd talking about it all knowing that I actually had my mate and he was going to be the Alpha soon.
“ So when should we do your Luna ceremony?” Jonathan asked me.
“Um, I really don’t know. The thought of being a Luna is something that’s gonna take getting used to.” I said bluntly.
“Don’t worry babe, my mom can help you with all the duties of Luna.”
“I’ll have to actually meet your mom soon.”
“You will. I’m going to tell my parents about you tonight.”
“I’m actually kind of afraid of what your parents are going to think about me being your mate. I’m not a high ranked wolf like you and your family. I don’t have a fancy pedigree like you.”
“Jordan, stop. My family is going to be very happy that I have my mate. I think we should do your ceremony in July since it would only be a few weeks after my Alpha ceremony.”
“That’s fine by me.”
“So when are you going to move into the pack house?”
“I’m not sure honestly. I mean, we just found each other and we haven’t mated yet. Maybe we can revisit that one later on.”
He looked at me and gently placed his hand on my upper thigh. I was wearing shorts so his hand was touching bare skin which caused me to feel the sparks as he touched me. He leaned in and brushed his lips against my neck.
“So when are we going to mate?” He asked me, with lust in his voice.
“Down boy.” I giggled. He sighed and laid back onto my bed.
“You’re gonna kill me and my friend here.” He gestured to his crotch. I rolled my eyes. “I’m only kidding beautiful. I’m not going to rush you.” He said.
“I won’t make you wait forever, I promise. I’m just nervous.” I explained.
“I’m nervous too but I’m also excited for it.”
“I keep forgetting that you’ve never done it before either. We have no clue what to do with each other do we?” I laughed.
“I mean some things just come naturally and we subconsciously know what to do. Like right now, we’ve just automatically been getting along and hanging out like it’s no big deal. My take on all of this is that you need to relax and stop thinking about it so much. We’re mates. Our bond is strong and things will happen naturally without stressing it.”
“I guess you’re right. I guess it’ll happen when it’s meant to happen right?”
“Exactly.”

Jonathan kissed me tenderly and looked into my eyes lovingly. We spent two hours hanging out in my room but it was getting late so he had to go home. I was honestly kind of sad to see him go but I knew he had to go home. His parents didn’t even know about me yet so he had to go home and tell them.
I was curious but also nervous of what Alpha Adam would say about it. I know that he was always accepting of me when Aunt Dory adopted me but this was different. Now, I’m mated to his son and my status in this pack is less than desirable. Luna Nicole always seemed neutral to my position in the pack but that could change drastically now. Being mated to someone with a rank was always my greatest fear because there was a high chance I would be rejected, or worse, be forced to be rejected. I leaned in to kiss him one more time and then started to pull away.
“One more kiss.” He said while leaning in once again.
“You said that five kisses ago.” I giggled as he pressed his lips back to mine.
“I know but I don’t want to stop. Your lips are like a drug to me.” He said against my lips. Just then, his phone started to vibrate and he pulled it out to check it. “Ugh, it’s my mom. She’s wondering where I’m at.” He said with a bit of frustration in his voice.
“I told you it was going to happen” I said laughing.
“Okay, now I really do have to go or else I’ll never see you again because I’ll be dead.” He said with a chuckle.
“Yea, you should probably go so I can see you again soon.” I said while taking his phone out of his hand. “Here, I’m putting my number in your phone. Text me when you get home. I’ll be up for awhile since it’s Friday.” I finished typing in my number and hand the phone back.
“I’ll make sure to text you the second I get home.” Jonathan said as he bent down and kissed me one last time.
“I’ll be waiting.” I giggled.
“I’ll see you again soon, beautiful.”
“Yes you will.”
With that, Jonathan turned around and got into his car. He started his car and pulled out of my driveway. I stood outside watching until I couldn’t see his car anymore. Once his car was completely out of my sight, I went back inside.
Aunt Dory and Uncle Jeff had already went to bed and Zoey was the only one besides me who was still up. I sat down in the chair across from her in the living room.
“Are you still pissed at me?” Zoey said flatly.
“No. I’ve decided to forgive you.” I said. She turned her head to look at me with a big grin across her face.
“So how was sucking face with the future Alpha?” She asked slyly.
“Don’t even start and you don’t know what you’re talking about.” I said defensively.
“Jordan, I looked out the window and saw you kissing him now give it up.”
“Ugh, fine I did. Happy now?”
“Yes. Especially once you admit you actually like him.”
“I do, a lot. I accepted him actually.”
“Yes! I’m so proud of you! My cousin, the future
Luna!”
“Alright calm down. Let’s watch a movie while I wait for Jonathan to get home.”
“Alright.” Zoey smiled while finding a movie to watch.
