Aira’s POV I wasn’t sure what Mother wanted, but I followed her anyway, down the labyrinth of hallways that led to my parents’ suite. The guards stepped aside as we walked in, and Mother headed straight through to her dressing area. My closet was huge, but I was always overwhelmed whenever I stepped into hers, which could only be described as massive. Still not sure what I was doing here, I waited, knowing that she wouldn’t have brought me there without a reason. Toward the back, she reached in and brought out a hanging garment bag and waved me toward the bedroom.
