CHAPTER 4: START LINE

Being a UA Graduate is a Requirement to be a great hero. And it's my time, to get in. And now, the exams have began. The first step to my dream of becoming the greatest hero! 

BATTLE CENTER B 

Students are in preparation for their first big test as heroes. Battling through a run down city. Y/n is stretching in his running gear as his Quirk Psycho 100 looks to steal the show!

His eyes turn to Izuku who looks like he's gonna die. Y/n: Hey, you okay? 

You seem a little. 

Izuku slaps his face and takes a deep breath.

Izuku: Y-yeah, I can do this, we can do this!

Y/n: that's the spirit! See? It's not that bad.

As Y/n, continues to loosen up, Izuku's focus turns to the girl who stopped him from falling. His gaze turns to her as he takes a step to meet her, until someone grabs his shoulder. Izuku turns to see the taller and bulkier man who exposed him in class. 

Man: what are you doing? Are you going to try to ruin her chances by distracting her as well? 

Izuku, stammering from the confrontation has no idea how to handle it. As Y/n steps in. Annoyed by the confrontation

Y/n: Hey! The man turns to Y/n as they stare eye to eye. Y/n:

Y/n: who do you think you are? You don't put your hands on my friend.

Man: I apologize then, I did not know he was your partner.

Y/n: yeah!.... wait do you think I'm Ga-

Present Mic: Alright!

The silence is looming as lzuku slowly backs away as Y/n. Annoyed, turns to the front of the entrance and back to the blue haired man, a still faced look.

Y/n: Keep your hands of my friend. 

Y/n turns to the entrance. As Present Mic gets on!

Present Mic: Right lets start! Get moving! There are no countdowns! 

lzuku: Huh?

He turns to see everyone running ahead as y/n is turning to him screaming! Yelling

Y/n: Cmon! Let's go fan boy! 

lzuku: Crap! Wait for me!

EP 4: STARTING LINE.

Y/n runs through the city as his eyes and ears are on high alert focusing on everything, until! Boom! A robot rams through the wall. As it looks ready to crush y/n. Psycho 100 goes into action. Grabbing the robot with his telekinesis. He slams his hands together and crushes the robot! More appear as a smirk comes from y/n. His hands glowing as this is going to be interesting! 

Y/n: heh, this is gonna be fun! 

POV OBSERVATION ROOM 

Teachers watch on as cameras show the progress of students. 

Teacher(1): clearly the examinees don't have no idea how many villains are present and do not know their location, they have limited time, must cover a vast area and must defeat every target, some use information gathering, others use speed, down remaining calm is a quality, as can lure power and combat ability, the most successful use all, and rack up.

Teacher(2): they all seem promising, especially the Quirk user of Psycho 100. Who knew the son of the Joestar Lineage would be so prominent?

Teacher(3): indeed, Y/n Higishikata, but the real challenge is yet to come.

He presses a button as the real monster begins! Something erupts from the ground on the Training Area, a gust of dust blasts the students, as the monsters is revealed, the biggest robot of them all! It towers above some of the buildings! It towers above all as the students fear for their lives, the large green monster looms as the students face the biggest challenge. 

It c***s back it massive fists and slams its into the ground.

Y/n: Everyone Get Back now!

Y/n slams his palms into the ground. Using his Quirk to create a massive barrier of energy to block the massive power of the punch! But the force shatters his shield as he's knocked into the crowd of students! As everyone tries to recover from the attack, the dust blinds their vision. As students turn and run. Y/n.  doesn't. He stumbles forward to find Izuku. Trying to find his friend. 

Y/n: Izuku? Cmon, we gotta-

Before he could finish his sentence. The fist settles to see Izuku on the ground, looking at the monster, and the girl. Pinned down by rubble, by the looks of it, if no one helps her she's... 

She's gonna..

Die...

Izuku and y/n look at each other. 

Deku and y/n run forward! As the words of all Might rang inside their hearts! Their speed and force in unison as the two souls battle!

All Might: True Hero's! Always fight for others! There are no combat points for taking on a huge villain! But there is, OPPORTUNITY!

Y/n dashes forward, dodging the attacks of the beast as he gets to uraraka. Grabbing the rubble and throwing it off her. Picking her up he rushes out, leaning her with the others for safety, as he turns back to face the monster with Izuku they head forward! Leaping in the air! The robot won't allow this as y/n. Takes it to the next level, using his Psycho 100. His Quirk to slowly lift the beast in the air, blood dripping from his nose as y/n and Izuku leap in the air!

All Might: A Chance to Shine! To show the world what you're really made of!

Cocking back their fists as it glows with exponential power! As the words of all Might ran through their souls!

All Might: Clench your Buttcheeks kid!

Y/n And Izuku: And yell this from the depths of your heart!

Y/n, Izuku: SMASH!

The double smash crushes the beasts skull! Destroying it indefinitely with a massive implication of Smoke and metal! As all Might says valiantly!

All Might: That's right! Show who you are, Embody what it means to be a hero! there's nothing more noble!

That self sacrifice!

The beast explodes as Smoke rings from its body! The fight! Is over!

IZUKU: DRAMATIC FINISH!

Izuku: this is, kind of like when I tried to save Kacchan, my body just move, but now I have a quirk. Real power 

The robot hits the ground with a massive boom. Izuku realizes they beat the monster. He turns to His friend Y/n. As his eyes go wide. Y/n looks out cold. His nose bleeding as he falls to the ground. As so does Deku.

Deku: (okay! This is bad! I gotta wake Y/n up, I can't use my arm and legs. He has to use his Quirk or, or we'll die!)

Deku turns to Y/n who's unconsciously nose diving to his death.

Deku: Y/N! Wake Up! Were gonna die! Damn. He's out cold from his Quirk! If I can get close to him. I can use my other arm and stop us from hitting the ground too hard! I have all mights Quirk. I tried to be a hero. But I'm not good enough to be a sideckick. It's all over!

Deku and Y/n seem to reach their end. Until, the space girl Uraraka comes in clutch 

*slap*

Stopping the boys with her quirk. Inches from certain death as it all seems at loss

Uraraka: Release~

They hit the ground as y/n. Lies back first on the ground. His eyes slowly opening as he has a pretty bad headache.

Y/n: (crap, I must have blacked out from using the Quirk didn't I?)

Deku is in a bad way across from him as The space girl is vomiting rainbows, just think of what that mouth Do.

Y/n: (or maybe I'm dead and this is what hell is)

Y/n stumbles up as he is dizzy. Walking over to Izuku. He falls back down trying to help Deku up.

Like a Drunk Scientist waking up His Socially awkwardly grandson to go on adventures in their spaceship

Student(1): did you see that? 

Student(2): yeah, those quirks together made that punch look awesome! What a tag team.

lida: hmmm, interesting. Knowing this enemy was worth 0 points. Yet they charged in regardless of the danger, To save that girl. 

As the students watch, and elderly woman arrives Her hero costume looser than most as it's a robe. We find out who this hero is!

Recovery girl

Recovery Girl: yes yes, you all did well. Fantastic even. 

Reward yourself with some gummies! 

Student: HELL YEAH!

Recovery girl walks up to Izuku. Kissing his Wounds as her quirk activates. Repairing and replacing the bones in his body.

Tenya lida watches on. Wondering if there was something else he overlooked.

ONE WEEK LATER

Y/n sits in his room alone as he sighs. Using his Quirk to play with an action figure. You know, telekinesis. Twirling it around as he knows he didn't get enough points to get in. Even with the few bots he demolished it wasn't a good showing of his Quirk.

Izuku sits defeated in his Room as his mom peeks in. The pure and innocent Momdoriya.

Mom: I know you didn't do well, but I think you're pretty cool sweetie.

Izuku: Thanks. I guess.

At Y/n's House. His mom peeks into the room with a letter. With the UA. hero Academia stamp. A look of  Sadness on her face.

Tomiko: hey Kiddo. I'm, sorry about what 

happened.

Y/n: it's okay mom. You were right, I couldn't be a hero like dad. But, I guess the bright side is I met a girl

Tomiko: no, I was wrong, I should have believed in you, you know you're a lot like your father

When he was young he was a dashing young man with a soul of fire! Never gave in and always had a plan. And always came out on top.

In his journey he met and became friends with people he'd least expect.

And they fought by each other's side to the bitter end.

Even in his older years, your dad still has that fire about him. Oh and I forgot to tell you you have a letter from UA.

She hands him the letter and exits the room. He rushes to his desk. Tearing it open as it's a, something sort of disc shaped decide? The light beams from it as It's all Might!

All Might: BOO YEA IM A PROJECTION NOW

Y/n: what the- all Might?!

All Might: I know it's been a while, but great responsibility comes great paperwork! *Ahem* my apologies. The truth is I didn't come to the city to fight villains! You're looking at the newest UA staff member!

A hand appears on the screen and instructs all Might 

Hand: *Hand signs*

All Might: yes what's the matter? Who's showboating?

Hand: *more signs*

All Might: yes I'll wrap it up but I have to show him something.

Hand: *even more hand signs*

All Might: Wait I have to do even more of these things? *sigh* moving on. You didn't score enough combat points in the exam. I'm sorry

Y/n looks down. Knowing what words are about to he said. He's rejected from UA.

Y/n: yeah, I knows. I know what's coming next. I'll find another school to go too.

All Might: Ha! Well you better put that on hold! Here. A video for your viewing pleasure!

A video shows as it's Uraraka.

Walking up to present Mic

Y/n: I don't like where this is going. (Boner dead)

Uraraka: Excuse me? Sorry to interrupt 

Present Mic: what can I do for you rockstar?

Uraraka: you know the boy with the green hair and the odd freckles? Plain looking, doesn't stand out ?And his friend the really tall hunk? With the nice hair and the beautiful eyes and the perfect chin? He's really cute!- I- sorry I got off track. But, can I give them my points? They, they stopped to help me. They saved me. Can't you just, give them my points? I have to make it up to them!

All Might: You have a Quirk, but it's your actions that truly inspire others! That's why I am here! You see the exam was not graded on combat points alone!

Present Mic; thanks for showing up for the station for your request, but those two are rocking the charts on their own! 

Y/n: w-what?! Does that mean..

All Might: How could a hero course reject someone so determined to save others? After all, that is what makes a hero. And that is what my Alma Motto is all about; Training those who would risk their Lives for the greater good, so we have rescue points! A panel of judges watch as they reward points of heroic actions!

F/N L/N: 70 Rescue Points! 

IZUKU MIDORIYA: 60 Rescue Points! 

OCHACO URARAKA: 45 Rescue Points

All Might: you all passed the exam!

Tears fill the eyes of Yin as his knees get weak and arms heavy. A smile comes across his face. His dreams coming true. 

All Might extends his hand to welcome him to a legacy.

All Might: welcome Y/n, you have made it, you are now part of the Hero Academia!

Y/n knees became weak, arms heavy as sandbags as his heart was full of joy. He made it
