Chapter 10

2458 Words
Aurora POV Ronny leads me into the hotel and casino and gives me a quick tour and run through of everything. Afterwards, he takes me to their gigantic kitchen and introduces me. It looks like there's a mix of humans and wolves in here. That's comforting, I guess. I grab a quick snack and tell him I can just go straight into work. "Here, you can get changed in here! I know the perfect place tto put you!" He says nicely before handing a nice black dress and some black heels. "Uhm..?" He shrugs. "That's just what our servers wear. They like to have them dress nice." When I look at the other servers walking in and out, I just nod at him. I have worn heels before, not often enough to actually walk around efficiently with them though. "Just so you know though, I don't really wear heels, so I don't.." "Oh, we have some nice flats here then! What size are you?" "6.5" I tell him as I look at my surroundings a bit. Whoever runs this place, I assume it's Ronny, really runs a right ship. There's quite literally nothing out of place. "Here you go." He says cherfully. "Ginny will show you around." I see his eyes grey over and I turn around quickly to get into the changing room. I slip out of my warm clothes and wear this long black slip that goes down to just above my knees. I slip on the flats and then walk out of there. "What's your name again?" Ronny asks with a red headed girl next to him. She gives me a sneer, but I just look at Ronny. "Ester." I lie. "Great, well Ester. This is Ginny, she's going to show you to the playroom." I sneak an eyebrow up at him. "Playroom?" "Oh, don't worry. If anyone gives you any trouble, let security know and they'll them right out." I nod lightly and follow Ginny. She doesn't say much to me, but she looks at me like she hates my f*****g guts. What did I do now? "The bartenders are center of the playroom. You take drink orders from those playing at the tables only. Here's an apron and a pad and pen." "Okay." I say and grab everything she hands to me. I wrap the apron around my waist and turn around to go take drink orders. I don't have to do a lot of the serving since most of the other girls seem to prefer serving than taking the orders. I'm not one to complain about it. "Hey, Ester!" Ronny calls me over as I finish giving the bartender another order of drinks. My chest hurts a bit as I set down my pad and pen to grab whatever he is giving me. "Yeah?" He hands me a serving tray and a drink from the bartender with a gold platinum hotel card on it. "Can you send this to the president's suite for me? Our boss is in there and this is his usual." I nod and take the tray. "Which way?" I ask while still in distress over some weird pain in my chest. What the f**k is that? He points in the direction of an elevator. "Use the card, it will take you straight into the suite." I nod and take off, but Ginny stops right in front of me. "You're letting a new girl take it up to him?" Ginny barks at Ronny. "Yeah, I am." Ronny says as he directs some people carrying ice around to the back of the bar. "He doesn't like most of you going into his room to start up a conversation. You know that he's busy." Ronny uses his serious tone with her. That's weird. "But her?!" Ginny screeches. "I promise I won't talk to him, but at least let me do it." "Ginny, the only reason you want to do it is so you can strip naked and hope he f***s you. So no." Okay, then. I say to myself awkwardly. This is not exactly a conversation I want to be in. "This is so unfair!" Ginny screams out and shatters a couple of glasses on her way to do something else, I'm sure. "Go ahead and go, Ester. Just a reminder, he's not very friendly. Just get in and out." I nod and take my leave. Whoever their boss is, he sure seems rude, but it appears maybe he has to be if that girl was really intending on sleeping with him. But that's none of my business. Just do the job, duck low, and don't make trouble for yourself. When the elevator doors reopen, I walk into a beautifully gold adorned suite with white couches and cushions but gold nonetheless fills the room. Woah. Trying not to get distracted, I get to the living room and kitchen and don't see anyone here. Where should I put the drink? I breathe heavily as that chest pain intensifies and I can hardly breathe the air of this open suite. That's when I hear a woman screaming bloody murder from the bedroom. Oh, s**t. Is she okay? I am about to go in that direction, but the next words that come out of her mouth stops me. "Oh my God, holy s**t. That was amazing. Can we do it again?!" Oh. Okay. Ew. I have to get out of here. I set the drink down on the kitchen counter and hope that's enough for him to at least get it. The bedroom door swings open and I make my way to the elevator. The elevator door is about to close and I catch a small glimpse of the man. He has a tall and wide build, but that body reminds me of him. Oh my god.. Is that..? The man turns his head towards me as a sliver of the elevator finally closes. I don't think he saw me. If he did, I don't think he got a close enough look. Even I didn't get a close enough look, but I did take care of that man a couple weeks back and he looked eearily like him. But seriously what are the odds? I make it back down and my chest pains have finally subsided. That's super strange. It was kind of uncomfortable and unnerving. As I rub my chest, I walk out of the elevator to catch Ronny. "Woah, are you okay?" He asks me as he sees my face morph in discomfort and I rub my chest lightly. "Yeah, your boss was kind of busy, so I left the drink on the counter." I tell him. "Oh, you didn't see him?" I shake my head. "Did you tell him that I sent you and does he know where the drink is?" "Well, he was kind of with a lady friend." Ronny mouths an 'oh.' "That's a new one." He laughs a bit. "That's fine. I'm sorry you had to witness that." "Just heard, I didn't walk in, thankfully." He snickers. "Okay, well Klara is taking over the tables for you. Think you can handle loud music?" I c**k my head to the side at him. "Because I need to put you in the club." Enzo POV After I finish in this human girl, she asks to do it again. I roll my eyes as I shove her off of me. That was painful and I'm not talking about the s*x part. s*x was fine, whatever. She was dirtier than she let on, but fine, whatever. No, it was painful because there was this glaring chest pain until it was finally over. What the hell is that? At first I thought it was because I just didn't like f*****g Mary. Is this going ot be a thing now? Can't I even have s*x anymore? "You have two minutes to get out." I say to her as I get up from the bed and walk outside the bedroom. I hear light footsteps in the living room and kitchen. I sniff and don't smell anything but a human, non-threatening. As I walk over there, the footsteps seem to tread towards the elevator. When I get to the kitchen, I see my usual drink on the counter. Ronny. He must have sent one of our human servers to give me the drink. The humans generally stay away from me because they can't handle the intensity of my glare and my presence. If he sent a she-wolf up here, she would probably linger, hoping I look in their direction. I hear the elevator doors about to shut and I turn to see a figure behind the elevator doors, but I don't actually see who got me the drink. Well, if she got a card to come up here, I am sure it's fine. Only Ronny has the other card anyways and our security is pretty tip top. The girl that I was screwing comes out of the bedroom, clothed. She makes her way over to me and kisses my bulging arms and lifts my hand up to place on her ass. "So, when am I coming back?" "Never." I look at the clock in the kitchen. Turning back on my normal presence, she suddenly shivers away from me in fear. "I said you had two minutes." I gravel out and she runs her heart out to the elevator, pressing the button quickly before stepping in and getting the hell out of here. I'll admit though, the only reason I went for her was because she seemed so innocent, so much like her. The girl I don't even know the name of. The girl that plagues my mind every day. It's weird. It's not like I had any heart to heart with her or anything. It just fest like I didn't have to hide anything with her because we didn't even know each other's names. Even when I laid my lips on her soft ones, she was timid and shocked. Maybe it's just because her reaction is so opposite of what I would expect. When we were sleeping next to each other, I just couldn't help hold her when she was cold. That motel really sucked with the blankets. She just cuddled up, but then she had to wake up and push herself off of me. Something about that irked me. My phone rings and I turn it over to see it's Finn. I'm sure Lauren and he are having a blast at the club right about now. I had already checked the hotel portion of this business. I just need to go through the tables, slots, and then I can hit the club to see how it's going. I get ready with my usual white button down shirt and black trousers with black oxford shoes. My hair is a little tossled up, but that's to be expected from my endeavors earlier. The moment the elevator hits the floor to the tables, I see three female servers, all she-wolves, comes up to me and ask if I need anything. Ignoring them, I head straight for Ronny who is talking to a client of ours from Vienna. When I reach them, I give the client a hard handshake and exchange some pleasantries before the client leaves me with Ronny. "Heard you're already having a good night." Ronny snickers and I growl lightly at him to warn him about speaking more of it. "Woah. Woah. Look, I'm just saying you scared poor little Ester." "Is that the human girl you sent to my room?" He nods. "Yeah, thought it would be better to send her unknowingly than to send one of these power-hungry she-wolves. You've been out of a mate for far too long, man." "Yeah, tell me about it." I breathe out but shake it off. "So, what's this I hear about shortage tonight?" He looks down to the ground in disappointment. "A couple of the girls went to a bachelorette party and apparently they got food poisoning, but I was told they got really hammered and just too drunk to come to work. I had to fire them. This was their third time pulling this stunt." "Names." I order. He lists them out, they're all she-wolves. "What did they say to you afterwards?" "That they were going to complain to you." Oh, hell no. I know what that means. Ew. No. "No, you're right. I am backing you on this. They're fired." "The tables, other than that, are handled. I got Klara and her new employee, Ester, helping us out for tonight." "For how long?" He scoffs. "Well, you know Klara. She'll stay forever if we let her. Ester took a bit of convincing though. She doesn't have a car and doens't live close, so I told her once the shift was over, we would take her home, but she said back to the cafe was fine." I nod, knowingly as I scan the tables being looked after. Klara spots me and I quickly look over to Ronny. "Everything good here? Let's move on." He takes me towards the slots and everything seems to be in order here. Once I have made sure everything is in running order, I make my way into the club. Ronny and I meet Finn, Lauren, and Henrik here. Liam and Tomas are still on base training. "About time you got here!" Finn yells at me over the loud music that I have to adjust my ear to. "He was a little busy if you know what I mean." Ronny exposes me to them. Great. "As long as it's not Mary, I don't give a s**t!" Lauren spills out, laughing all the while. We sit and talk for a little bit. None of the she-wolves are bothering us and none of the males are bothering Lauren, just the way we like it. Well, that is until Mary arrives. She starts throwing a fit for not being able to sit with us and tries to throw around her title, but security isn't having it. They know better by now. Lauren stands at the edge of room, looking down at the club below us where we have an EDM DJ and a full bar wrapped around the room. She squints down there as the rest of us guys are playing pool or darts. "Lore, what are you staring at?" Finn finally asks as he makes his shot in pool against me. "Ronny, that girl you put in here looks like she's scared to death. That poor girl. Why did you put her in here? She's clearly uncomfortable." We all stop what we are doing and go to the edge to take a look down...
