As Ethan returned back to his room, he saw that Rebecca still hadn't left. He grew angry instantly.

"I asked you to leave Becca."

"I know. I couldn't bear to leave you behind after knowing you went to see that awful woman." She explained.

"Mind how you speak about my Luna. I won't forgive you if you don't change your mindset about her." He cautioned.. referring to the part where she labeled Thea as awful.

"What do you expect me to say Ethan? I know you do not like her and you're just forcing yourself to condone her stay in this palace."

"That should be my business." Ethan demanded and sat on the bed. Rebecca saw that as an opportunity to move closer to him. Rebecca didn't want to leave Ethan's sight even for a second. She was in her fertile state and she hoped to bear him a child. She didn't want to leave but instead she hoped that he touched her for the few days that she was fertile. Rebecca prayed that she conceives for Ethan. To certify her place in the kingdom. She knew that Ethan and Thea hadn't gotten intimate yet, so there was no chance that Thea would conceive his child anytime soon. Becca moved her hands seductively on Ethan's body in order to get him in the mood so he could have s*x with her but Ethan's expression revealed that he was uninterested.

"What is it? Do you not want me?." Becca inquired, placing a kiss on his chest.

"You should be getting back to your place now. I do not want you to go at midnight. It isn't safe out there. I'll have my men escort you to the border." Ethan offered.

"You are chasing me away? Ethan."

"It is for your safety. We might go into war anytime. Don't forget we have a rebel in our captivity. His men might plot an attack and you know our present situation." Alpha Ethan explained.

"We are short of warriors. After our last battle with the fays." He added. Becca knew quite well about everything but Ethan still had to explain things to her in case she pretends to forget.

"Are you doing this for her? Did you fall in love with the princess? Do you want to have her on your bed instead of me?."

"Enough!." Ethan thundered loudly and Becca shrieked in fear.

"Do not speak to me in that manner." Ethan stood up.angrily.

"I'll have my men escort you and do not come back until I request for your presence.". Ethan spoke and left the room.

Becca folded herself into the bedsheets as she feared that she might not get the opportunity she wanted and might lose Ethan to Theadora soon.

After Thea returned to her room, she had her makeup removed and wore a flimsy nightwear. She allowed her long brown hair to fall backwards and she sat on the bed gently. Thea took the novel which she had brought with her from Ethan's room.

She opened the first page and began reading.

"Once upon a time.. there lived a princess." She read out but stopped suddenly after she heard the sound of swords clicking outside. "Were they being attacked? Was Maxwell's pack here?." Thea became Curious and rushed outside instantly. Putting the novel away. She knew that they wouldn't hurt her since she was Maxwell's woman so she rushed out to confirm. Thea continued to hear the swords clanking and hitting on each other as she went outside.

"What is going on?." She asked Ina who followed behind her.

"It's the Alpha. I heard he was fighting violently tonight." Ina revealed. Thea was disappointed when she found out that it wasn't Maxwell's men who came for him but Ethan showcasing his strength.

They both arrived at the training field and her suspicions were true. Ethan had begun bullying his warriors all in the name of training. She heard that Ethan had stopped swordplay ever since he lost the last battle but what she was seeing at that moment baffled her. After so many months he was still very good with the sword. It didn't even seem like he quoted for months. Some of his betas and other werewolves in his pack were on the floor and amongst the men that Ethan fought with. It was almost midnight, Thea wondered why Ethan decided to fight at such a time. The werewolves seemed tired and sleeping but he was stressing them by making them train by force.

Thea folded her arms while she watched him display his superiority over the swordfight. She was sure that some of the warriors were better than him but didn't dare to fight their Alpha.

Ethan finally noticed Thea's presence at the training ground and she watched him fight which was so interesting. All of a sudden, he was filled with the urge to impress her.

Ethan fought seriously and more violently till the men couldn't Continue and they surrendered to him.

"Why are you all submitting? Is this how you are going to fight during our next wars?." Ethan was enraged and threw his sword away. He didn't expect the sword to go in the direction of Thea and she flinched when it approached her.

"Princess. " They all called.

"Your highness." Ina called out fearfully.

Ethan rushed to check if she got injured.

"I am fine." Thea revealed but Ethan didn't care.

"Why did you come here? Huh! Come with me." He pulled her away with him angrily.

"You don't have to treat me roughly." Thea remembered but Ethan continued even with her struggles.

"Why did you come there? Did you miss me so much that you have to come to such a dangerous place? "

"It was noisy and I came out to check. I never knew the almighty Alpha Ethan bullies his men whenever he gets disappointed by his lover." Thea pointed.

She already knew that Ethan had Becca stay in his room since the previous day. When she heard that Ethan fought violently, she guessed that he must've fought with Becca and posed his anger on his innocent men. Hearing what she said, Ethan angrily punched the walls behind her. Thea remained wide-eyed and she watched him do it. She didn't flinch or fear. Her guys enraged Ethan more.

"Woman! Do you not have any fear for me?." Ethan was quite shocked about Thea's defiance.

"Common Ethan. I thought you were more clever." She mocked and laughed out loud.

"What do you mean?." Ethan grinned.
