Chapter 14: Surprise

2 months later

I wake up to an empty bed. I roll my eyes, and get up from bed. I toke a warm shower. I dressed up into an over sized hoodie (since it's starting to get colder) and leggings. I walk down stairs and into the kitchen. Where is see Mat, Luca, Sebastian and Conrad acting all secretly. I lean myself on the door frame and wait until they feel my presence. I see Sebastian lifting his gaze and freaking out. "s**t she is here" Sebastian said and all turned to look at me. They all shifted uncomfortably and scratched the back of there heads. I know they are hiding something. Because one thing I know is that when they are hiding something they all scratch the back of their heads.

I roll my eyes and walk to the fridge. I open the fridge and look at my options of food, when I felt two strong  arms run from my shoulders to my belly. Caging me into his chest. I smile and lean my head into his chest. "Morning Amor"

"Morning" I replied as sniffed his intoxicating aroma. "So tell me, what are you guys up to?" I ask as I turn around and look into his eyes. I hear Lucas choke on his food and I eyed him up and down with a suspicious look, then there is Conrad who is sipping on his coffee and looking deadly to the table with wide eyes like it was the most interesting thing he has ever seen and finally Sebastian who was rewashing the same dish for the millionth time. Theses guys are horrible at keeping secrets or being discreet for that matter.

"Nobody is going to tell me?" I ask as I cross my arms around my chest and lock eyes with every single one of the guys. I hear Matthew clear his throat as he looks deep into my eyes. I look at him trying to figure out what emotions hide his green eyes, but I don't find any. "You are going to met my parents" he said and I swear I almost fainted. If it wasn't for Matthew I would have hit the floor face first and hard.

"Are you out of your mind?!"

"Well that wasn't the reaction I was expecting"

"I mean, don't get me wrong but you want me to met one of the best pack Alpha and Luna of all history?" I questioned throwing my hands up in the air for a more dramatic effect. "How do you want me to react?"

"I mean they were great but I wouldn't go over board" I heard Sebastian say and I growl at him to not mess with me, because I am not stable at the moment.

"If you don't want to meet them, then it's fine, there is no rush"

"Are you kidding me? Of course I want to meet them, they are your parents"

"It's just I thought-"

"Ssssshhhh, I'm on my period, I get mood swings very often" I tell him while putting my index finger to his lips. He smirks at my finger and looks up to my eyes. He let's out a small chuckle and then he goes upstairs.

A week later and everything is in order. We are all packed up. The alarm rings up and I turn it off. I get up from the bed and I make my way into the bathroom. I take a quick shower and I wrap a towel around my body. I walk out the bathroom and into the bedroom. I go to wake Mat up but when I'm get out the bathroom I notice he is already up and he is sitting on the bed. I walk up to him and kiss him on the cheek, he smiles up to me and kisses me on the lips. I walk to the closet and start to get ready. I select a turtle neck long sleeve cream shirt and a white pair of jeans, to finish I choose my brown boots. I put on a little of make up and head down to the kitchen to start coffee.

Once down, I'm not the only one that is ready. I see Sebastian working with the coffee pot. I smile and bump into him and he looks startled but soon gives me a smile back. He was dressed with a black leather jacket, with a white shirt, he wore black jeans and black boots. This brothers really love the color black. I roll my eyes mentally at the chose of colors and look inside the fridge looking for something to cook real fast for me and the boys. I end up choosing eggs, I did some scramble eggs and added some vegetable to the mixture. 

After I was done doing the eggs, in cue the other three brothers came into the kitchen. I served each and everyone of us. We ate and made small talk around the table. "You excited?" Asked Conrad taking a sip from his orange glass.

"Excited and nervous" 

"Don't be, mom and dad are the best" Luca said 

I nod into his direction, but I was still not convinced. I mean they are their parents, I'm just a stranger. I soon feel a hand touch my thigh. I look up and Mat is giving me a reassuring smile. I'm not going to lie, I'm nervous, but I know that if Mat is right next me, everything is going to turn out just fine.  

By seven in the morning we are out of the house and in our way to the airport. We soon arrived to the airport and we got off to Italy. We flight was going to be a long one, so I decided to take a nap. That nap turned out to be as long as the flight to Italy. I was woken up by someone shaking my arm softly. I open my eyes slowly and see Mat looking at me. "Wake up, we are here" He said and I got up quickly, I yawn and rub my eyes with the back of my hands. I smile at Mat and he lends me his hand. I take it and once I do Mat gives it a steady squeeze. I smile up to him and wonder how I got lucky. But luck is what I need for this meeting with his parents to go well.
