Charlotte kept on running speedily, not watching where she was going because of Conri and his wolves who were at her back chasing her. Knowing that he will kill her if he gets to her, she keeps on running up to a tree, not until she slips and falls on a Barrel-chested man. Conri and his wolves got to her immediately. Charlotte raised her face up and was shocked, getting in contact with the Popular Alpha Liam. She fell to the floor, breathing hard. Her clothes were ruined, but she had no money to change them. Next Morning**** The next morning in the woods, Charlotte woke up after sleeping for a long period of time, and she was startled when she found someone sitting beside her. “Good morning, Sorry to startle you. I am Scott, Beta of the Blood river Pack” Scott stated after seeing her in a confused and sacred state. “Ohh, nice to meet you. I am Charlotte From the Star Moon pack, too bad I was banished, so I am just hovering around” Charlotte uttered sadly and wondered why she told him she was banished and the name of her pack. “Umm…, sorry about that, but why were you banished from your pack?” Scott asked impatiently. “Story for another day” Charlotte muttered and stared at his handsome face. They were still talking smoothly, and she realized that he is her mate so fast because the connection is intense, it made her wolf jiggle happily. Charlotte presumed he sensed it too, but then, he wasn't even giving her that hope of being her mate. She went into a trance for some time. Her thoughts were interrupted by Scott's appealing voice. “Since you don't know where you are going to, I might be of help to you, can I get an apartment for you?” Scott appealed, waiting for her reply. “ Yes, thanks. I don't have a choice though” she said in a silvery voice that can make the heart flutter but not to Scott. “Okay, shall we?” He whispered softly in her ears and she felt that strange connection again. “Yes, I am ready” She breathed before standing up from the ground. “You are going to change your clothes first before I will get you the new apartment” He dictated to her. “But why are you doing this? I am just a stranger” She blurted out unknowingly, although that's what she has been wanting to ask. “We are both wolves, and it is not bad helping each other, or is it?” He lied, not wanting her to press further. “Nope, but you are behaving weird” She perceived, staring at his handsome face. “Really?” He asked, making a funny face, and she laughed. “But you are, stop avoiding my question by making me laugh” She teased, and it was his turn to laugh. “Why are you laughing?” She questioned him, joining her arms together. “Because you are behaving like a kid” he blurted out, laughing hard. “ You are sick,” She said and poked his nose. That connection, again, made her so free with him. “So as you” he replied, rolling his eyes. “Can we just go and stop all these rantings?” Charlotte smirked. “Yen Yen Yen” He blabbered and mouthed. “Big mouth, let's go” She joked and started walking, leaving him behind. “I don't have a big mouth and stop walking fast, Not as if you know your way” He glared at her. “ Yen Yen Yen” She replied and pouted. “Just wait here, let me get a dress for you” He breathed after getting to her. “ Okay big mouth,” She said, and he laughed then went to get her dress from a nearby mall. A few minutes later...... “Here” He muttered, giving her the dress. “Thanks a lot. You all are just nice” She said beaming happily. “ You all?” He asked, wondering where the all is coming from. “Never mind” She groaned, remembering the One eyed Alpha. “Okay if you say so” He snarled wanting to know why she said that but too bad she would rather not open up. “Can I ask you a question before I change?" She murmured, not sure if he will be truthful with her. “Yes, you can,” He said gently.
