Laura’s POV
I took a quick shower before misses Summer gets here. I can see Jade being nervous about involving his mother, and I can understand why. Most of the people who helped us ended up dead, but she knows Mr Summers the best, and if anyone can help get him off the board, it would be her.
We’re all still in the dark, but I know things will fall into place once we know everyone that is involved in this conspiracy. We know my mother is Jade’s father and the government, but I’m sure there are more players.
The water turned called, and I quickly dressed when I heard Jade’s mom in the living room speaking to Jade.
I dressed in sweaters and put my wet hair into a ponytail.
