Love alarm

" uggh I can't be late , I didn't even hear the alarm ring " Ella checking the time and see if it is 7:00 a.m. she immediately dashed into the bathroom. The sound of the Rushing water could be heard as she took her shower. in less than 15 minutes she was done showering and did her skin care routine . with the towel wrapped around her breast she searched for a cute but professional dress to wear as today is her first day of work in the thorne group she finally settled for a pair of black trousers, sleeveless top and a lady suit coupled with a flat shoe,she styled her long black hair into curls.she stood in the mirror checking her outfits with a satisfied smile. she picked her bag and left the room she went to make some coffee for herself when she saw her mother had already made some for her with a note,a sticky note "I had to leave early, I have morning shifts see you in the evening sweetie good luck on your first day of work" :-) smiling Ella picks up the coffee and dash to the door after confirming the door is locked she waved for a cab. At the entrance of the company Ella was astonished by how big her new workplace is, still captive by the astonishing view she bumped into a man and her coffee spilled all over his shirt"oh my god can't you watch where you're going " said the man. "oh oh sorry here take this dollar bill get yourself a new shirt" ella said to the man dismissively rude as she realize she spent 5 minutes staring. she checks her time and dash towards the office entrance in a clumsy way. the man stayed at the dollar notes in his hand there was a sharp glint in his eye and a playful smack on his lips. Ella soon got to the receptionist where she had to wait until the HR called for her , when the Hr manager Mrs helson called her. ella went to the HR office "take a seat miss Ella am Mrs Helson the Hr manager I see from your resume that you have been interviewed and approved for the position of a assistant manager of the design department" "yes that's correct" "I am sorry to inform you but there have been a mix up and that position has been taken already" "I don't understand what you mean Mrs helson I was specifically informed that the position is mine" "I am sorry about the mix up but there is an open position that is needed to be filled urgently" "and what would that position be" "the CEO assistant" "I.. I..I don't think I can handle that role I think is an important role" "but the ceo especially requested for you" "me? I don't think I know the CEO" The Thorne group CEO is a private figure and not many have met him,only an important executive could only have a glance of him. " that is why you are going to meet him" " now.. now..now" Ella stuttered as her hands went cold. Mrs helson took Ella to the CEO office.Mrs helson knocked on the door "come in" " Mr Alexander this is the new girl you requested as your assistant" " "you may leave Mrs Helson thank you" Ella saw a man back facing her she was lost for sometimes staring at his broad shoulders and when he turned "what the hell who would have thought the guy from outside actually is actually CEO". Her inner mind said, at the same time her expression changed from a sheer shock to absolute horror. Alexander looked at her playfully and smirked because he has her where he wants. he rose from his seat and stood in front of his desk and said " good morning miss Ella" with a cold and arrogant tone the cold air in the atmosphere sends shivers down ella spine, at his slowly walks closer to her, making it clear he was about to start a very calculated game of control. for sometime Ella stood there bewildered by the series of events until she replied " "Good morning sir I'm your new personal assistant I was asked to report here by the Hr manager" Alexander went back to his seat and started reading some documents without replying. ella stood there stunned and wondering if she should leave or stay there because she did not know if she had said something to make him upset. she tried not to breathe loudly or make her presence entirely known and suddenly Alex said " is that your perfume, it smells bad, change it or stop using it entirely" "what" Ella said not hearing what he said "I'm sure you heard me change your perfume and I don't like repeating myself it's that clear" "yes sir" " Get me coffee black no cream or sugar" " yes sir " " and stop calling me sir call me CEO" "yes sir I mean CEO" Ella left the office panting with her hands on he chest as if she survived a world war. suddenly, a colleague hooked her hand around Ella's shoulder saying "I'm Helen Mr Alexander secretary, girl you look like you just saw a ghost" Ella was stunned by the super friendly gesture as she did not have so many friends she hesitated before replying "I'm the CEO new personal assistant emmanuella silver or you can just call me Ella"
