As we were walking through the back of the pack house a earth shattering growl came from the stage. Jonas stopped in his tracks and looked, the Alpha princes’ eyes were black as they jumped off the stage and headed straight for us. I was so scared I was in so much pain I didn’t think I could take a rejection and handle this pain at the same time. I tucked my head to hide my face in Jonas’ shoulder. I forgot he came to me shifted so he was standing there naked right now and my two mates were seeing me in his arms, but he was my safety net, my best friend/father figure, my safe place and he literally just saved my life. I know they were my mates but I’m sure they are going to reject me soon anyways so I don’t understand why they are growling at my only family. They have no right!
Alpha Prince Isaiah spoke first “what are you doing with her!?” he growled out trying to control his wolf. “Alpha prince Isiah” Jonas bowed his head “Aurora was attacked by rouges 2 miles away in the clearing behind the pack house, I have my warriors cleaning up the mess but it seems when they attacked her they had venom on their claws and its taking Tala, her wolf, longer to heal, I was trying to get her to the pack hospital for help” with that Isiah and Elijah almost lost it a rouge attack again! How many more where there and their mate was attacked! “How many were there?” asked Elijah Aurora answered “there were 5. There was a leader a large grey wolf with black paws, he was the same rogue wolf that attacked me, my mom, and the former Luna 3 years ago” I replied with confidence as I know I am not lying. “And why did you call for Jonas’ help?” asked Isiah “very simple because he is the only warrior and friend I have here, He is basically the father figure of my life. He informed me if I was ever in trouble to reach out and he will be there and he was” I said with a straight face “and your report” they said to Jonas “When we arrived we couldn’t smell any rouges but we saw them. Aurora had already killed two and was partially shifted there was the leader, as Aurora informed us, standing to the side who went running when we got there and the other 2 well they were disposed of easily.” Isaiah mind linked Elijah “She took out 2 rouges by herself and could partially shift that is amazing that takes years of practice and control with trusting your wolf! But I don’t like her being in this mans arms she is OURs!” Elijah looked at me “Zay I understand how you are feeling but as you can hear from her and from what we were told by her own father and alpha this is probably the only friend she has and the only person she trusts. Blaze is going crazy right now with her being in his arms but we need to respect that she feels safe with him and get to the bottom of these attacks” Isiah just nods he knows his brother is right they just need to take her to the pack hospital and then we can get our scent on her.
They turn to their dad and mind link him “Dad there has been another rogue attack but this time we have a witness, and she is our mate” their dad gasped from the stage but he had a huge grin on his face. They hadn’t noticed that the whole pack was now staring at them with their interrogation of Jonas and their mate was still in the arms of this man with her side ripped open and bleeding, what were they thinking! As the alpha and beta ceremony is now over they felt that they should take their mate to the hospital and then investigate this rogue attack especially with the new information that this is the same rouge leader that attacked them 3 years ago. Something is going on around their mate they just have to find out what and why they are after her. As they went to grab her from Jonas’ arms she flinched away and moved more into Jonas’ arms tucking her head into his chest cowering away from them. Why is she doing this, does she not feel the mate pull what is happening!? This made them growl. She looks up at them “If you are going to reject me can you get it over with already! I’m already in a lot of pain and I just wish to go and get treated and then be on my way” they were shocked why would she think they would reject her, is it because she was an omega? They didn’t care her rank they knew from the moment they met her that her aura was a powerful one. They didn’t know what happened but they knew she was hurting. “we would just like to take you to the pack hospital to get looked at. As you are our mate and we don’t have any desire to reject you. But you being in another males’ arms right now are making our wolves crazy and we are trying to keep them back but it is getting difficult.” She looked up at them in disbelief. They don’t want to reject her but why Aurora thought she is not special. Elijah spoke next “sweetie I understand your scared and you don’t believe us but the fact that another man is holding out mate is making our wolves crazy as we can smell him on you. We know you trust him and are close but its taking everything not to attack him so please will you let us carry you? I promise we wont hurt you and Jonas can still be right there with us and by your side” Aurora thought about it and reached out to Tala “hey what do you think?” “I think they are telling the truth. Remember what your mom and the moon goddess told us, trust in the twins, well the twin alpha princes are our mates and their wolves have reached out to me they are struggling with us in Jonas’ arms right now. We should go to them”. “OK” I nodded my head and Isaiah took me into his arms and I winced my side was still on fire and bleeding while all of this was going on so moving from one set of arms to another set of arms was unbearable and I just wanted to cry. He looked down at me instantly realizing what happened “I’m so sorry baby I didn’t mean to hurt you” I inhaled his scent an immediately relaxed. Jonas steps up “I think we have spent enough time here, Aurora is still bleeding we need to get her to the pack hospital now! She should have healed more by now” The three of us walked to the pack hospital with the whole pack behind us wondering what the hell was going on.
