Chapter 5

Alpha king pov

I mind linking my sons. “Isiah, Elijah come to my office please.”

We have a ceremony to go to for a new alpha and beta at the blood moon pack. As my sons are 23 and still have not found their Luna, I want them to come with me on these pack visits to see if their Luna is at another pack since they have been unsuccessful in our pack. Of course, they state they don’t need a Luna and they are having fun with their playboy ways… Man, I feel sorry for them when they get a mate, they have no idea that pull or how much stronger it makes you.

They link back. “on our way dad.”

They walk into my office and I can see their clothes are disheveled, goddess only knows what they were just doing.

“Sons, we have an alpha ceremony at the blood moon pack and we will be heading there later today. I want you to get packed up for an overnight trip and for the love of the goddess take a shower and get ready to go.” I can hear their displeasure.

Isiah speaks first, “Dad, do we have to go? You don’t need us there…is this about our Luna again? We told you we don’t need one. We are happy with how things are.”

Then his brother chimed in.“Dad having a Luna will be a distraction. We have the warriors training hard as these rouge attacks are becoming more frequent there are other things to worry about.”

I was sick of the same argument with them as I could smell they were just with someone. “If that is the case, then why do you smell of s*x, clearly you are still wetting your d**k with the she-wolves here, so why not try and find your Luna who makes you stronger and is your true mate!” I was annoyed and sick of this back and forth they were going whether they like it or not. They heard it in my tone and just bowed their heads.

“Now go get cleaned up. We are leaving in 2 hours.” they walked out of my office.

I just don’t know how to make them see a Luna is just better than the random she wolves that are warming their beds, your mate is the other half of your soul the person who completes you. I wish they would just listen to me for once instead of being so d**n hard headed and stubborn. Ugh, sometimes I hate that they take after me in that area!

Isaiah pov

I can't believe my dad is still harping on about this Luna business, can't he see they would only be a distraction and a weakness? I know my mom and dad love each other and they keep trying to explain the mate bond to us, but I don’t understand why they are forcing it on me and Elijah. We don’t need a luna we have a few she wolves that we f**k every now and then. They know it is nothing but s*x and we can continue about our business of being the future alpha kings.

I let out an exasperated breath and my brother turns.

“You know they are only thinking of what’s best for us, mom and dad are so happy they don’t see why we wouldn’t want that as well.”

I know my brother was right, but after we haven’t had a Luna for so long we gave up and just started doing our own thing. We knew it was not going to be good if we found our Luna and brought her back here, we have been with so many of she wolves here and that may make for a weird environment for our mate. Who wants to be surrounded by their mate's former s****l encounters? No one! Ugh, what are we going to do?

“Your right Elijah, let's just go and get this over with. Not like we have found Luna in the last 5 years who’s to say she is even out there.”

We walk back to our rooms to shower and get ready to go, we mind linked an omega to come and clean our sheets as they still smell of s*x from earlier and if we do find our Luna we don’t want the coming into our rooms smelling of other she wolves. We have another room set up for us when we did find our Luna as I and my brother are in separate rooms now we are pretty sure we will have the same mate as we are twins and will then all stay in the same room. After 5 years we haven’t gone into that room we have kinda lost hope and just stayed in our separate rooms.

When we finished, we went down and meet our dad and head to the blood moon pack.

The blood moon pack is 7 hours away. As alpha princes, we are over all of the packs and we have to ensure no infighting, no packs trying to take over others and to follow the laws set. We also have a council of elders that we sit on and we assist with judgments. It seems like a lot of work but to be honest we love it.

I am older than Elijah by 5 minutes, but we are one and the same. I can be a little more dominant, but he is better with people, he is definitely the people person out of the two of us. We balance each other out like yin and yang.
