Then the true Dark Nature of Mestro rose again. He only remembered the statement, " Come and free Dark Phoenix." Then he destroyed Death Lotus with his Fire Blast Canon. His eyes changed from blue to black and his eyebrows from black to maroon. Zuzzo asked him if he was ok but he dashed to behind Zuzzo, punched him and said that he had never felt better. They powered up and started fighting him. But his power had been amplified, so he easily defeated them. Instead of killing them he decided to absorb their power and add it to his own. He said that it would take him 533 years to get to Dark Phoenix's prison. He flew at light speed and said that he was the Lord X.
