I sighed heavily. I’d hoped they’d forgotten about Mike and Yvonne when we were talking about Charlie’s cupcakes, but I should have known better. Sam could track a conversation like a d**g dog on the trail of a dealer. She never let anything drop.
“Mike’s new assistant ‘accidentally’ fell into his lap yesterday. I was waiting to go into a meeting with him and saw it happen. His hands settled on her tiny little waist as she settled on his lap.”
