New Beginnings

As the student entered the Academy, some of them were disappointed, they thought it was going to be full of skyscrapers and other luxurious buildings, but all they saw was wilderness even inside the Academy, it had few buildings that weren't elegant.

"Alright students, since I have given you, your transponders and suits, all other information can be checked in your transponder, including the location of your classes, materials needed for the classes, and other vitally important information, etc, are all in the transponder.

Kiran put on his transponder, a screen displayed in front of his eyes just like normal transponders.

He searched for the Academy map, it was shown clearly with markers representing, the student living quarters, location of classrooms, different training areas, staff quarters, and also the commercial district,

A little information was written by the side, explaining the strict uses of each location on the map.

The staff quarters was strictly for staff, and no student was allowed inside without permission, the classrooms contained different classes each teaching a different course, the training areas had different types of equipment, to help student train and evolve faster, lastly, the commercial district, was where all buying and selling took place, you could buy things, from fellow students, the teachers of the Academy itself and, also various assignment giving by the Academy was obtained there.

As the students looked over deeper into the Academy, they saw a student wearing the suit, or rather uniform of the academy walking towards them and were surprised.

they knew the academy normally took in Students once and would not take in more students until the previous ones had graduated.

Were they other students from somewhere else apart from the green city, or was this person an Imposter, they quickly debunked that idea, this was the Academy how would they be an imposter.

As the students walked towards them, he noticed their confusion, he smiled and walked towards them " Hi new students am Sam Thompson, from the last batch before you guys"

They were surprised again when they heard he was from the last batch, wasn't he supposed to have graduated,

"It's like you all guessed, I didn't pass, and wasn't able to graduate, so am still here"

As Jiang Zhi heard the student had failed, he arrogantly said " why would the Academy keep, people like you who could not even pass, wasn't it supposed to hold only geniuses"

Kiran looked at him not surprised, from Airra he had heard how Jiang Zhi was always this arrogant and stupid, but this was the academy and he was still throwing his weight around.

Sam moved closer to the students and

Sam slapped Jiang Zhi.

Jiang Zhi was sent flying, with some of his teeth broken, and blood flowing from his mouth.

"This is the Academy, here only strength talks, with how weak you are, you still have the effrontery to look down on me,"

Sam turned back at the other students,

"Congratulations, and welcome to the Academy, it will be best if all of you learn to be a bit polite and don't behave like this i***t,

Jiang Zhi was injured, and could not stand up for some time, though he mostly felt humiliated, and didn't want to face the crowd,

The students were all surprised at how strong Sam was, a simple slap had almost broken all Jiang Zhi teeth, he was defenseless in the face of Sam,

Kiran was also surprised by Sam's strength, even though he, himself was stronger than Jiang Zhi, he was sure he could not fight Sam.

The student gained a whole new respect for the Academy, the academy would not have kept someone like Sam if he wasn't strong enough,

"With how strong the last batches of students are, how are we going to survive here," one of the students said in a panic.

"Check your transponder, there is information about them, the last batch and the present batch would hardly interact with each other inside the Academy," Airra said.

All the students including Kiran quickly checked their transponder for information on the old students, they were finally relaxed after seeing the rules and regulations regarding fights between the new students and the old but they were frightened again when they saw the following information after the rules and regulation,

The only time when the new students had to fight the old student was during, the monthly tournament battle, where there was going to be a fight between the new students and the old,

"This is unfair" one of the students exclaimed

How do they expect us to fight the old students, who had trained and became strong staying in the Academy,

"I think that's just the academies way of trying to push us to become stronger, people normally got stronger in hard times," Kiran said

"Yes, I think that is why," Airra agreed.

The other students also agreed with what Kiran said, if they didn't even have the heart to compete with stronger opponents how were they going to become a strong evolutionists.

The academy planned to dampen the new student's arrogance using the old students, which will push the new students to train harder and also push the old students alike to work harder so they don't get trounced by the new students in revenge.

Earlier from Samson's strength, it could be seen that he was in the 8th level of the basic evolution realm, stronger than the tiger that had killed Kiran in the Academy exams, if they were to fight strong students like Sam during the monthly tournament they were doomed to fail.

"There is no need for panic, I believe if we all trained seriously and harder, we would become as strong as the old students, if not stronger" Kiran confidently said.

All the new students regained their confidence, they started dispersing, moving to different places, trying to familiarize themselves with the Academy.

He had heard what Kiran and the other student had discussed, he was confident he would become stronger.

The whole Academy was not too large and in less than an hour, Kiran and the other students had toured the entire Academy, After that they all went to find their respective quarters trying to find their room.

Each student had his own personal room, though the rooms were not luxurious, it had enough space, one could even train and perform some little exercises inside.

Kiran laid on his bed, put on his transponder, and started searching for information on their classes,

A pop up appeared as he was looking into information on the classes, the pop up was trying to remind Kiran to register for the combat training class, beginner evolution class, technique class, the weapon class, or other basic classes, he was to register and complete it, before the end of the month,

There was a note under it, explaining that only after registering and completing these basic compulsory classes, would students have freedom as they wanted.

After reading the popup, he removed it, and then continued reading information on the basic classes,

Each class was taught by the academy teachers personally, the academy teachers were one of the strongest human evolutionists in the continent, there was no better guidance than theirs, only a limited number of students would be able to attend a particular class, at a particular time.

Kiran was just about to register in one of the classes when a notification appeared that the class was full, Kiran could not believe someone was faster than him in learning about the classes.

"It's probably one of those children from the prominent families in the city, they have probably gotten some information about the academy from their seniors"

He wasn't that eager to join the classes, he knew that getting to the classes earlier didn't mean you would become stronger than the other students,

He messaged Airra and some other students he had got acquainted with, during his tour of the Academy, he explained to them, about the classes and some other information he had learned from the transponder.

In the girls' quarters, Airra was on her bed, reading some information when Kiran's message entered, her family had told her about her classes and other information.

she was caught in too many things and had not found time to tell Kiran,

She was happy Kiran had thought of her and had sent her the information, as soon as he discovered it.

"I can't believe I forgot to tell Kiran, let me send everything I know now back to him now"

When the other students received Kiran's message they were overjoyed, they quickly disseminated the information to the other students and did not forget to tell them the information originated from Kiran.

"I can't believe Kiran was the one who sent this vital information, I would have expected him to keep it to himself, am sure the other rich students know of this and have kept it to themselves"

Kiran had earned respect from the students for sending vital information without even knowing it.

Inside his room, Kiran received Airra's message, went through it, and thanked Airra for sharing it, it contained other vital information to note in the Academy,

By now Kiran had registered in the other classes.

He put off the transponder to rest because he had a class in about an hour.

"Good afternoon sir, I am Kiran, here to participate in Basic class" Kiran quickly said as he entered the class, the class was as large as a medium hall, filled with different types of equipment, as he entered, he saw 2 other students In the class.

Only three students were allowed to attend a class at a particular time,

The students greeted Kiran as he entered because without his information they would not have learned about the classes.

"Good, a decent young man," a rough voice was heard, from a strong muscular man at the front of the class

"I am instructor Adam smith, but you can call me Adam, I am the instructor for body evolution,"

"I hope all of you here are body evolutionists because this class is only for body evolutionists if you are not, you should leave, there is a similar class for energy evolutionists"

Instructor Adam looked over at Kiran asking him to sit,

"You took first in the Academy exams right?"

"Yes sir," Moran answered

"That good, you have shown that us, body evolutionists are the strongest,"

"All those sissies who called themselves the energy evolutionist are not real men, a real man should fight with his body, not some borrowed power"

Kitan smiled he didn't know how to tell the man that he was both a body evolutionist and also an energy evolutionist.

"How much do you guys know about body evolutionists?" Instructor Adam asked.

"Body evolutionists, are evolutionists whose evolution is centered around their whole body, their skin, organ, tissues and the other part of the body is strengthened when they undergo cellular evolution, they do not need to circulate energy before they attacked, the energy is trapped inside their bones and the other parts of their body, they are the only evolutionist who can fight evolved monsters with their body" Kiran answered

"Excellent," instructor Adam praised

"It seems it not a mistake you became this strong and took first in the exams"

Kiran nodded, he really could not do anything to the tiger.

"How will a body evolutionist lose so badly fighting an evolved monster, even if he was stronger than you, you should have been able to put up a fight, well I guess it's not your fault, it's your family's fault for not teaching you well" instructor Adam berated.

"Sir actually, am orphan I don't have a family," Kiran said

"Are you joking with me, how the hell did you become a 5th level basic evolutionist without a strong family, do u think am a Kid" instructor Adam said, while a frown was forming from his face.

"I joined the bureau sir, Kiran quickly answered

" no wonder, who was the one that taught you in the bureau" instructor Adam asked calming down.

"It was Captain Ming, sir"

"It that senseless brute, no wonder you don't know anything"

"Let me show you, how body evolutionists are proposed to fight".
