Armageddon: Defying Fate

Ever imagine how the world would end, countless human civilizations have left horrifying tales of how the world would end, but no one knew it would start as something beautiful though horrifying In the year 2049, a NASA satellite caught an unexplainable event, a large planet magically appeared in between the planet Mars and Earth. the news was explosive, countless scientists were sent to explore the new planet, but all of them failed to enter the new planet. The planet was covered in a mist-like substance of unknown origin, barring people from entering or looking into the planet. As scientists continued their research on the new planet. A few days later the mist-like substance could be seen slowly covering Earth. A year later, on 1st January of 2050, Earth lost contact with its satellites, after sending images of the earth being covered completely by the mist-like substance just like the strange planet. Instantly, the earth lost connection to sunlight and everywhere went dark and then the whole sky around the world instantly lit with an aurora ( a natural phenomenon which is characterized by a display of a natural-colored (green, red, blue, yellow, or white light in the sky). This was simply the most beautiful scene to ever happen on earth, this wasn't your normal aurora, this aurora was thicker with dreamy lights moving like beautiful snakes dancing in the air. the aurora kept on getting thicker and thicker that it looked as if you could almost physically touch it, then the aurora lights started falling like rain all around the earth, it was singularly the most beautiful rain to have ever fallen on earth. Humans all over earth had mixed reactions about the phenomenon, some called it divine intervention, others locked their doors afraid of what they could not understand. In a hospital in Africa, a woman named Aisha was delivering her baby while the whole phenomenon was occurring, the doctor and the nurse looked through the window and were stunned at the aurora that could be seen in the sky, the woman was in pain and didn’t care about the phenomena outside, the doctor opened the window and the aurora lights came swimming into the room, landing and then disappearing into their bodies, especially the pregnant woman, more and more lights kept pouring into her stomach. Outside the room, a dark-skinned handsome broad-shouldered young man wearing a military uniform could be seen outside anxiously waiting, he noticed the commotion in the room and quickly barged in "Doctor, what is wrong with my wife, is she ok" before anyone could answer him, he saw the aurora lights and was dazzled for some seconds then he quickly came back to his senses, shouting at the doctor, they quickly went back to the woman and started attending to her. Twenty minutes later a baby’s cry could be heard "wahhh wahhh wahhh" the doctor was stunned because the boy had aurora colored eyes which had never been seen before, the anxious father quickly collected the baby with a smile written all over his face as he said "Aisha, its a beautiful boy and he looks like me" "boys aren't beautiful but handsome Hamza" the tired woman who had just given birth said while still closing her eyes because of pain “let me see my handsome boy" she added Hamza the boy’s father gave her the baby, she held the boy in her arms, and for the first time since given birth, she opened her eyes and saw the face of the baby, he was so handsome that it was beautiful, no wonder her husband called him beautiful, her face was full of smiles even though she was suppressing pain, then she noticed they were aurora lights covering the whole room, she had seen them before while she was still given birth but she thought she was hallucinating because of pain, then she looked at the baby's eyes they were exactly like the lights surrounding the room she was scared and then quickly asked "Doctor is something wrong with my baby, why are his eyes like the light in the room" the doctor collected the baby to check his vitals, she turned toward her husband and said "what is all this light, Hamza" "no one knows what they are, I just checked my phone, they said they are all over the world, they land on the body then disappear, the governments and scientists all over the world are all trying to figure out what they are", "Mrs. Aisha, there’s nothing wrong with your baby, he's even healthier than normal babies", she collected the baby while laughing, "he would be a lady killer when he grows up" she thought, she let out a painful sound as pains came crawling all over her body, Hamza came close to her and asked with concern, "Aisha what’s wrong", she didn’t answer, he collected the baby and quickly yelled "doctor, come and check my wife, I think something is wrong with her", the doctor and the nurse quickly came over and started checking and testing her, Hamza was anxiously carrying the baby witnessing everything, A few minutes later, a weakened soft voice could be heard from Aisha, "Hamza, the baby’s name should be Kiran, just like the lights” (Kiran, meaning ray of light in Indian) Hamza. quickly said holding her hand, "that’s a strange name for an African, anyway we will call him whatever you want, you just need to stand up from this bed" Aisha weakened voice came, “Hamza, I don’t think I will make it, please take care of Kiran, I know you can do it when he grows up, tell him mommy loves him, love you," she said with tears flowing through her eyes as her last breath left her body. "No, Aisha, you must make it, both me and Kiran cannot do without you", he said in tears. He was a brilliant young officer who had fought in a few battles and had witnessed many deaths of both his colleagues and enemies, but this was the first he felt so much pain and felt so empty. Hamza was one of the first to experience tragedy on the day of the beautiful apocalypse but surely would not be the last. The aurora phenomenon lasted for ten hours then slowly disappeared like smoke. The sun, set on earth again, this caused a commotion all around the world. neither the government nor the scientist could give any explanation, before the buzz could calm down, another phenomenon occurred on all the continents of the earth, a giant large and dark hole appeared above the sky. the world was set into another buzz, the military and scientists were quickly sent to the site of the occurrence. In Nigeria which is known as the heart of Africa, where Kiran was born, the giant hole was above the capital, stationed in the sky like a giant mouth threatening to maw the entire state. the scientists tried to fly near the hole so they could understand what was going on, but they were hit by a force field suppressing anything that came near. it was like that all around the world, no one had gotten near the hole yet. A few hours went by and then the hole started loosening its darkness and slowly started getting brighter, light and color could be seen inside the once dark hole, The scientists escorted by the military quickly came near the hole again, as they looked inside the hole from where they stood, the insides of the hole elongated as if been punctured as a figure came out of the hole. The scientists were shocked by the floating humanoid figure they saw, with metal-like material covering its body like ancient armor. They would have called it human but its stature wasn’t that of a human, it was about 15 feet tall, with four muscled arms and thick legs the size of an entire teenager, with two things looking like antennae on its forehead. The scientists and their escorts were shocked and terrified, one of the scientists steeled his heart and decided to attempt communications, he then spoke from the helicopter and said "Hello, welcome to earth" The creature looked at the helicopter slowly bringing out a weapon. The weapon looked like a long spear with a double head, then the horrors began, the creature looked up and then screamed as if announcing its visit, It turned towards the helicopter, then zoomed with an inhuman like speed towards the helicopter, as it raised its two-headed spear and smashed the helicopter into two, Everyone died except two soldiers that quickly used the parachute, It caught the two survivors in the neck, with two of its hands around their neck, it then yanked off their heads one after the other while they screamed, with its other hand which wasn’t holding anything. satisfied with the kill, it then zoomed towards the camp where the remaining soldiers and scientists were. The alien went on a killing spree, killing everything in its wake. The soldiers resisted but their bullets barely injured it, Human body parts could be seen all around the camp. More and more aliens punctured the hole and descended to earth. Killing everything in their wake This m******e was happening all around the world, it was an alien invasion, humans had always wondered whether they were alone in the galaxy, well, they got their answer that day, a bloody cruel answer. Humans rose in defiance of the apocalypse, fighting the aliens who from all indications were killing the humans only for sport, Humans fought the aliens with, atomic bombs, nuclear bombs, and all other weapons they had, but sadly they lost city after city, country after country even continents, until a scientist figured out how to decipher the alien language, through that, he discovered information about “the invisible energy” as the aliens called it. This strange energy exists as a form of light that is invincible to the eyes, The aliens were able to channel this energy into their bodies, and then it gets absorbed by their cells, leading to an evolution of their entire being. This evolution led them into having stronger bodies and also god-like powers that defy all laws of science. When the aliens descended, the strange energy also appeared on earth. And so, humans also developed a system of evolution based on the alien system, this gave birth to humans with supernatural and godlike powers just like the aliens, the human heroes rose to fight the aliens, this was barely only enough to stop the human extinction. Through the years, Humans lost six of the seven continents, only Asia, the largest continent was left, the other continents were occupied by the aliens and only 3 billion of the over 10 billion of the human population was left, 7 billion people had been massacred by the aliens. But the humans refuse to accept defeat, humans were at the top of the food chain on earth and nothing was going to stop them, not even the aliens. .
