Fighting the old student Sam

The surrounding scenery changed, as Kiran entered into the virtual environment, he touched his own body, it was exactly like real life, not different from the virtual world he had entered during the Academy exams,

A pop up displayed in front of him,

"Please choose the sparing mode"

Numerous options appeared within the virtual screen. Kiran directly selected personal battle. Since the fight was between Sam and himself it made sense to choose the personal battle

On the other side, Sam had been waiting for some time. As Kiran made his choice, the scenery once again changed as both of them appeared on top of a building.

This was the only difference Kiran had seen from the virtual world in the Academy exams.

A voice echoed in his ears

At this time, countless students were watching the video live from their transponders. A lot of students had paid to watch the match, new students and old students alike, right now this was the top trend happening in the Academy.

A timer appeared, it started counting from three seconds, and then the match started.

But he could see, something strange, at the edge of Sam's enlarged fists, he could not let those fists touch him,

So for some minutes, the scene of their battle was Sam attacking, and Kiran dodging, Kiran was faster and more agile than Sam, so Sam was already beginning to tire out.

If Kiran, had brought out his sword and used either the fast sword, or dragon s***h this fight would have been long finished, but he had not learned the quick energy circulation yet, if he circulated, energy, and someone caught it, that would be troublesome for him, they were a lot of students watching the match, he couldn't take the risk.

The new students watching the match were all dumbfounded as they saw Kiran running all over the place, avoiding Sam.

What Sam didn't understand, was that as Kiran ran, he took account of the entire terrain, in the top of the building, the building was modeled, using a real building, in real life, and the space was not empty, they also objected, on top the building.

Sam attacked, but this time Kiran didn't dodge, he moved towards a tank on top of the building, used his full strength, kicking it towards Sam.

Realization dawn on the spectators of the match, Kiran had been taken notice of his environment while he ran, and had not been blindly running,

Sam was stunned for a moment when he saw the tank flying toward him, but he quickly threw a punch, destroying the tank, but immediately Kiran had appeared by his side throwing a punch, directly at Sam's ribs, when Kiran's punch landed on Sam's ribs he felt as if he had hit a boulder, Sam didn't even move a step back.

Even though Sam had lowered his strength to the 5th level basic evolution realm, the strength of his body would still be at the 8th basic evolution realm, that was the advantage of being a body evolutionist.

Sam smiled at Kiran, he knew he was not going to be hurt, that is why he never bothered defending.

He rushed toward Kiran again, almost hitting Kiran, but Kiran managed to evade at the last second, Kiran brought out his sword, he had planned on making a surprise attack using the sword, later Taking Sam by surprise, but now, if be didn't bring out the sword, he had no way of attacking Sam.

Sam would always defend with his gauntlets, but Kiran was so fast, a sword s***h would often escape to Sam's body, though Kiran, would always be pushed back, whenever Sam defended, Kiran would attack twice pushing Sam a bit back, whenever he himself was pushed back.

This continued until Sam was cornered at the edge of the building, Kiran had used all he was taught in the bureau to achieve this,

Sam could no longer move the way he wanted, he was too busy parrying Kirans unending attacks, his body was full of little sword wounds, the injuries were just flesh wounds, and didn't affect him.

The new students were all excited and laughing as they saw how Kiarn had suppressed Sam, Kiran was just too fast and explosive.

"Hahaha, the old student isn't that strong, see how he's been suppressed he can't even make any attack any longer," one of the new students shouted, from outside the sparring building. There were a lot of old and students gathered outside the sparring building, watching the match from their transponders,

"With how explosive Kiran is attacking Sam, he would soon, be tired out," one old student said

Outside the sparring building, the older students were laughing,

"We told you guys, Kiran was going to lose, attacking furiously like that, when fighting someone at a higher level than you was just suicide," one of the old students said,

"Sam finish him off, " they shouted, even though Sam could not hear them.

Sam was about to rush toward Kiran but was surprised, he could not move, he panicked, he tried to move again but could not,

Kiran looked back at him smiling

"You can't move right?"

"What did you do to me," Sam said panicked

The students outside were surprised as Sam didn't move to finish off Kiran,

"Finish him, Sam, what are you waiting for" the old students said furiously.

Inside the virtual environment, Kiran was facing Sam,

"Well my friend, what happened to you, is called simple biology, "

"You see, I have a photographic memory and very keen eyes, all the time you were attacking and I was evading, I was taking note of where all the nerves in your body are located"

"And I have severed them all, all those Little attacks that would slip your defense and attack your body, we're severing your nerves"

Sam was dumbfounded when he heard that,

He had planned this all through the fight, he had also done biology in high school, he couldn't remember anything like that being taught.

Sam, could not help but be angry as he heard that, he had been outsmarted by Kiran.

"Bastard!" he said gnashing his teeth.

Kiran put back his sword and walked towards Sam, he threw a punch at Sam's face, another punch, and another punch until Sam's face was all bloodied.

Now Sam understood Kiran wasn't tired at all, he was faking it.

The students outside could not understand what was happening.

"That bastard Sam, he must have been bribed by Kiran" one student angrily said

One of the older students who had a keen sight said " Something is wrong, it as if Sam, can't move, that boy must have done something, we should ask Sam when he comes out"

Kiran finally gave Sam the last kick on his chest, sending him flying down the rooftop,

Sam fell, and then finally died, his body disappearing from the virtual space.

The match finally ended with Kiran being the winner, something the older students had not expected. They kept analyzing the battle trying to find what happened. But, they couldn't find anything amiss, the more they thought about it, the more they felt Kiran was Scary.

Kiran had used all his strength planning this battle with his brains, if not he would have lost, he was happy, he had earned a lot of points from this battle.

The task for challenging the first rank new student had failed, sometimes that rarely happened, this had brought a huge motivation and excitement to the new students. Most of them had panicked when they saw how strong the old students were, but now they saw hope, the old students were not undefeatable after all.

They could not wait for Kiran, to come out, they wanted more than anything to know how he had won, how had he immobilized Sam? a little bit of that information might help them in the coming tournament between the old students.

The tournament had stuck on their mind like glue, they could not get rid of it, they didn't want to be beaten by the old students, they all dreamed of fighting and defeating the old student just like Kiran did.

As the new students were rejoicing and the old students were sulking, a pop-up notification appeared on their various transponders.
