Finishing the basic classes

".You have to finish your basic classes first before you can check your elemental affinity," Sam answered

"You can't do anything in the academy right now without, finishing basic classes" he continued

"Thank you, Sam, you know you are not such a bad person," Kiran said

"Well you will know how much of a good person I am during the Academy tournament," Sam said smiling.

"Are you trying to get revenge?"

"No, am just going to take care of you very well," Sam said again smiling.

Kiran understood Sam was going to get back at him during the Academy exams, he had to get stronger now.

As they were talking, a student pass over them with blood all over his body, Kiran was surprised when he saw that, but after checking carefully, he found out that the boy was uninjured.

"How did he get all this blood over his body"

"He must have gone outside the school to hunt evolved monsters," Sam answered

"Outside the school, isn't it full of evolved dangerous monsters"

"You guys just entered, and haven't finished your basic classes yet, some information is not available to you yet, the academy was created to train evolutionists to fight and kill evolved monsters, so the Academy encourages the student to go out and kill evolved monsters near the surrounding area of the school by giving out task points, that's how to get task points here"

"But the instructor that brought us to the academy, said we should not go outside of it,"

"Yes you should not go outside without permission, and also should not stray too far, from the academy when hunting, before you go for a hunt, you are expected to get a task first, from the task building in the commercial district, they will record your position at all times, so when something dangerous beyond your level happens, they can quickly send aid, but if you go out without permission, they might not be able to send aid on time."

"But with the students hunting all the time, don't they evolve monsters finish?"

"They are an uncountable number of evolved monsters out there, the moment you step outside the Academy, the evolve monsters never end, though most of them are low leveled, the higher leveled monsters, avoid the Academy surroundings, you can only see them when you go deeper into the wild"

"And because of that the Academy awards points in two ways, one, you get points for the deeper you go into the wild, and also how many evolved monsters you kill" Sam explained.

"But since they are other things, one can do to earn points, who would put themselves in danger by going outside to hunt," Kiran asked,

"Well my friend, you are saying this because you haven't seen how expensive things, are been sold in the Academy store, when I was a new student just like you, I had to hunt for more than a month to buy my first evolutionary liquid"

"What, it took you that long, doesn't that mean the academy is just pushing us to just go and hunt evolved monster"

"Of course, they are, how would students kill evolved monsters if they can't even fight one."

"Though the good news for you, is that you are in the 5th level of basic evolution so buying your first evolutionary liquid should not take you that long, I was in the 2nd level of basic evolution when I came to the academy, you are three level higher than I was, so it should be easier for you."

That didn't ease Kiran's worries, he wanted to buy the basic elemental manual so he needed a lot of points, more than Sam did when he entered the Academy.

"You are a new student, you don't have to worry yourself over this, they are a lot of ways to get points, you can even make higher points by selling the evolved monster bodies to people who need them inside the Academy," Sam said as he saw Kirans depressed face

"What would they do with the body of an evolved monster"

"Don't you know? Evolved monster bodies can be used for a lot of things, making weapons, evolutionary liquid, even the meat you just ate, was from an evolved monster"

Kiran now understood, everything has been planned by the academy, students kill monsters, bring the body, and the Academy makes use of it, to make the students stronger.

He was excited after figuring that out, he could not wait to go on his first hunt, outside the Academy.

No wonder every high school student wanted to enter the Academy, the resources of the academy were endless, the more the students work harder the more they could get resources to become stronger.

Kiran thanked Sam for all the information he had shared, and then quickly left to his quarters, he had another class in about an hour and had to go and prepare.

Kiran entered the basic combat training class, and like the energy evolution class, he was the only one inside,

In the front of the class, Kiran saw a middle-aged man, who was dressed exactly like how other instructors were,

"I guess only the body evolution instructor, and the energy evolution instructors, are the two weird people among the instructors, one was rough, while the other was elegant,". Kiran thought in his mind.

" you are that Kiran right"

"Yes sir"

"That's good, now attack me"

Kiran was surprised and hesitated a bit as he heard that, but obliged and attacked the man,

He made a sprint forward toward the man, throwing a punch at his face, but what Kiran did not expect was that his punch was caught by the man with his hand like he was handling a baby, and before Kiran could attack again, the man's leg came like lighting hitting him on the stomach, sending him flying for some seconds before Kiran could stabilize his body.

"Your punch was a bit weak for a body evolutionist, I guess you haven't learned how to control your body yet right, ?"

"Yes sir, I haven't bought the technique"

"You should quickly complete the basic classes so you can buy it, though your punch was weak, your reaction speed is a bit passable since you can still stand, after taking my kick" the man continued.

After the man finished talking, he rushed towards Kiran attacking him, when Kiran saw the man coming, he readied his hand in a guard following the basic boxing technique, as the punch came toward him, he also threw his punch, as the two punches met, Kiran felt as if he had hit a giant unshakable boulder, and was sent flying once again, he quickly stabilized himself, and attacked the man again, and was also sent flying once again.

Each time he stood up he would attack fiercer and stronger than before but was always sent flying easily by the man.

"I concede" Kiran finally said.

"Not bad, this is your first lesson in this class, when fighting someone stronger than you, you must know when to concede, and secondly, you have to remember not to rush and attack every time without analyzing your opponent."

"My name is kelly Armstrong, am your combat training teacher," the instructor said smiling

"I can see that you have mastered the basic boxing technique, all you have to do now is to get a basic technique for leg work, so you can increase your speed and maneuverability, with the two techniques in tandem, your combat ability will increase"

"But the instructor isn't there a higher level boxing technique in the academy," Kiran asked.

"Wow, I can see your ambitions are quite high"

"There is a higher-level boxing technique in the Academy store, but to learn it, you have to master the basic boxing technique to the perfect level, now you are only at the mastery level, and even for you it would take some time before you reach that, no one can guide you on that, you will have to comprehend it yourself"

"Normally I would teach students who come to this class a combat technique, but you have already mastered one, there's nothing else I can teach you"

Kiran was dumbfounded when he heard that, "what about the technique for leg work"

"That you have to learn by yourself, it is even easier than the basic boxing technique" the instructor answered.

The man said some other simple things and then the class ended.

This was the fastest class Kiran had attended because he had mastered the basic boxing technique there was nothing left the instructor could teach him.

He had been excited when he entered the combat training class, but he didn't know it would end this quickly.

He went back to his quarters,

The next day was the basic techniques class, the class even ended faster than the combat training class, normally a student was supposed to learn a technique in the class, but Kiran had learned and mastered the fast sword and dragon strike, so the teacher refused to teach him anything and quickly ended the class, only the instructors knew he was a dual body and energy evolutionist, so he could use his energy techniques during the basic classes, the Academy had made sure, only Kiran would be the class he registered.

And like that he attended the other classes each ending faster than the other, all the instructors had his information so he could not hide anything from them, the last class was the funniest, it was the basic weapon class, he was supposed to be taught the different classes of weapons and how to identify them, but since he owned a sword the instructor had immediately dismissed him, he had nothing else to teach him.

He was going to tell the man, he didn't know anything about the classes of weapons, but the instructor had disappeared, he was left speechless for some time.

Immediately after he left the class, a pop up appeared on his transponder "congratulation student Kiran Hamza, you have successfully finished attending the basic classes, and your points and other information has been unlocked"

Kiran quickly scrolled over to check the information, most of the information was what he had heard from sam, about hunting evolved monsters, the monthly tournament, and other useful information.

The most important thing he had learned was that, he was now free, there were no mandatory classes, and the students could do whatever they wanted, he was surprised though, but he knew no student would slack off, with the amount of tension around,

There was also information about the tasks offered by the Academy, the evolved monsters, and also the wilderness outside the Academy, there was even a reward for the first evolved monster killed in the wild.

The Academy offered 10 points for killing an evolved beast located around 100 meters outside the Academy in the wilderness, 20 points for evolved monsters killed in the area 200 meters outside the Academy, there was a 10 point increase to the points, as you moved 100 meters deeper into the wilderness.

And it also offered 10 points for killing a single monster, 11 points for killing two, there is an increase of 1 point as you kill more monsters,

So cumulatively if you killed a single monster after the first hundred meters,

Your total points will be 20 points, 10 points for killing the monster, 10 more for killing in after the first 100 meters.

There were even special points for monsters killed that were higher than the student's level, the transponder would monitor and record everything deciding your points.

"This is like a game, the more you killed the higher the points you get,"

The more he looked at the information, the more he was amazed.

The Academy could even offer special tasks like the one they offered Sam, to defeat Kiran,

Kiran could not wait, any longer he started making his way towards the Academy shop, there were a lot of things he wanted to buy, the body control manual, the quick circulation manual, a basic elemental manual, and if possible he would also buy an evolutionary liquid.
