Armageddon: Defying Fate

Aftermath of the tournament.

The tournament between the new students and the old had finally ended, the Academy released the total points the student had gotten in the tournament to each individual, there was even a bonus point for the new students breaking a record.

The new students were so happy seeing that, all of them had gotten points for just, participating in the exam,

Kian could not help buy sigh, the new students had gotten a lot of points for just participating in the exam, he could remember how had he had to fight evolved monsters in the wild, to make points they had easily gotten, but now as he looked it more carefully, inside the virtual machines environment they had experience real death, most of them had felt the pain of dying, so the points weren't that easy to make.

"3000 point, coupled with my 3200 I already had before the tournament, now

I have enough to buy perfect intermediate body evolutionary liquids, his eyes gleamed with light as he thought of that, he was sure that would be able to get him to the peak of body evolution level.

As he came out of the building, he saw a lot of student discussing about their escapades inside the virtual environmentt.

Most of them were just boasting about, about a lot of things, they did inside the tournament that he was sure no one believed.

As he walked into the crowd he saw Jiang Zhi, looking carefully at him,

" hey that's Kiran, he is inside the top ten the the tournament" a boy said point toward Kiran, a lot of students turned their sights to Moran after hearing what the boy said.

The new student were praising Kiran in all kinds is ways, while the old student had mixed feelings in their minds, they hated Kiran, but he had proven himself inside the tournament, a lot of them knew how hard it was to enter the too ten, that meant Kiran was stronger than most of them here.

Kiran greeted the students and then made his way towards the Task point store, he was too eager to buy things, and on his ways he just happen to meet Airra Star.

"Hi, me top 10" Airra said pouting her mouth.

"Seriously, you are not going to be like all other students "

"I searched for you through out the Tournament, and I didn't see you"

"I did too, but The virtual enviroment, is so large, it would be luck if u met someone you were familiar with" Kiran answered.

Airra star started encounter the entire things that happened to her in the tournament, kiran was suprised she had actually managed to kill two old students who were both higher than her in strength.

"I guess am not he only one that got stronger" kiran thought.

They talked as they made their way toward the Academy store, they both wanted to buy a lot of things from the store.

They were completely suprised as they saw, the entire sore was crowded by student, it was like the entire student in the Academy we're all in the store.

They were all looking at their screens, all hoping to buy things from the store, it was so crowded, Kiran had to squeeze in between other student, in other to come infront of the screen, he got in front the screen.

After buying all what he wanted, kiran point had reduced to a 1000 points, he signed as he saw that, all the points he had gotten from the tournament had gone just like that, beside him Airra Star had also bought all what she wanted, also.

The students that were close to kiran could not believe how much Kiran had just spent, even the new student became jealous Fter hearing of it, before Kiran knew it, the news about all what he had bought and how much points he had spent, quickly circulated between students inside the store.

"I can believe he made that much points"

"And he spent everything just like that"

Kiran could hear murmurs from student about what he just bought.

"This is seriously awkward"

He didn't like everyone knowing about business this much, it was wiser if no one knew of your real strength inside the Academy, this was just the day of the first tournament, they were still more to come, he reminded himself to be careful next time, he went to buy things from the store.

After all what he had ordered was delivered he waited for Airra Star's delivery to also come before he left the store.

As Kiran and Airra Star we're come out of the store they heard a commotion.

"Do you know who i am, you dare block my way?"

"Stupid f**k get, get away from my sight"

As Kiran looked over to check the students that were causing the raukus, surprisingly the students causing the disturbance was Jiang Zhi and the lead old student who had killed Kiran in the tournament.

"King Zhi has finally met his mat h this time"

They were both arrogant people, but the lead student had taken 1st in the tournament and had the strength to be arrogant.

"Do you know the other student" Airra asked.

"That's the the student who took the top position in the tournament"

"Are you sure" Airra asked looking keenly at the student, he looked normal to her there was nothing extraordinary about him, though the only thing that was out of place was that she couldn't discern his strange even after using alher sense.

"Yah, that guy is in the junior evilution real, he seriously strong, Jiang Zhi is out of luck this time"

Jiang Zhi was still trying to confront the student in front of him, after fighting old students in the tournament, he was no longer afraid of the old student, he had killed 3 old study bts in the tournament nament, and that had inflated his ego.

Jiang Zhi had been angry after Kiran had take. The title for the top new student eclipsing him, he had not even managed to enter the top 10, and now as he was about to go to the academy store just as be was about to enter, a student, had appeared in front of him, trying to enter before he did.

The lead student was also angry, after dieying together with Kiran during the tournament, he could not believe a weak student like Kiran had managed to outsmart him, killing him, and now just as he was about to enter the Academy store, one student student trying to drag him back, he lookedd over at Jiang Zhi with anger his face, and for the discussion of the students nearby he found out Jiang Zhi who was infront him was a new student, as he thought about Kiran who was also a new student, his face got angrier.

"You little piece of s**t, it's like you don't know your place, you think because you killed some trash inside the tournament, you think you are something"

He walked toward Jiang Zhi in slow steps, Jiang Zhi felt an oppressive force covering his entire body, he could not move, sweat was dripping from his forehead, as he tried to wriggle himself away from the force, but all his efforts prove futile, the lead student came inform of him, he raised his hands before giving Jiang Zhi a heavy slap, Jiamg Zhi was sent flying after receiving the slap, the kead students's hands were implanted on Jiang Zhi's face.

And once again Jiang Zhi has been sent flying by an old student in front of everybody, the first time was on the day the new student arrived the Academy, Sam and sent him flying, and right now another student had also sent him flying.

You could hear gossips from all over the place talking about how Jiang Zhi had been slapped, Jng Zhi was on the ground feeling completely humiliated, and did not want to stand up, his face had been bruised by the lead student, so badly, he looked liked a deformed animal.

As the lead student turned back to enter the Academy stire, he sighted Kiran who was together with Airra Star soectating about the incidence. More looks looks of hard appeared on his face, Kiran saw how carefully the student was looking at him, he was alarmed, but decided to stay calm,

He smiled back to the lead student, the student got angry after seeing Kirans smile, he directed his energy towards Kiran, Kiran quickly went in front if Airra Star to cover her from the energy exuded by the Student, he had to wrap himself in elemental energy I ln order to fight against the pressure coming from the students body.

"Isn't that a basic elemental ability" the students were surprised as they saw the aurora colored energy covering Kitans body, no one else was feeling the lead students pressure, so they didn't know the reason why Kiran had activated his elemental ability.

"No wonder he was part of the too ten in the tournament, " the student could feel how powerfull Kiran's elemental ability was even from afar.

The lead student, saw that his energy was not affecting Kiran just like inside the virtual environment, he then withdrew it.

"We will meet again"

He student said before bumping Kirans shoulder to the side before entering the Academy store, Airra Star who was behind kiran had all her clothes covered with sweat, even though Kiran had protected her from the energy some of still leaked and then fell onto her body.

She remembered this pressure was similar to the pressure she always felt from her uncles, they were all I. The junior evolution realm, now she believed what Moran had said about the old student been a junior evolutionist.

*kiran finally receded his elemental ability after the* student had left, he let out a sigh.

"Thank Gid he didn't go crazy" if the student had decided to attack him, he knew there was no way he would have defended himself.

The student, who were looking at the scene did not understand what had happened, only the some old student who had known the lead student understood what was going on, most of the old student too did not know the lead student had entered the junior evolution realm.

Kitan and Airra finally made their way outside the vicinity of the Academy store.

"How are you acquitted with that student"

"I met him in the tournament" Moran went on and explained how he mat the student and what had happened.

"No wonder the guy looks like his going to eat you, you have to be careful from now on, try and avoid the guy"

"I know, the best thing to do is just to get stronger" Kiran said clenching his fists, he knew all this happens because he was not as strong as the student, today he would have probably have been beaten by the student, if the student was not worried about the instructors in the academy.

The Academy had struct rules on fight between the old student and the new, the old student were not allowed to fight the new student, except if was a challenge, and the challenge was to be done in the combat building.

As Kiran thought about how weak he was in front of the student, he could not wait to take the intermediate evolutionary liquid he had used almost all his wealth to buy. He quickly said goodbye to Airra, and then macr his way back to his quarters.
