Notifications flooded Kiran's transponder as he tapped it, he had gotten the entire special reward for new students, up to the 3000 meters mark, this had been his plan all along,

As he scrolled he saw more notifications on the evolved monsters he had killed as well as special rewards for first kills,

He had killed a lot of monsters on his way, even though he was mostly running away from them, most of the time he had still killed enough,

The total points he had gotten for killing the monsters was 1200,

He had made a lot of points today, but he knew it would be hard to get this amount of points another time, he had gotten this many points because of the special reward.

The next time he came hunting, there would be no special reward except he could go more than the distance he had covered today.

"This is the farthest I can go, with my present strength, am sure I wouldn't be able to handle the evolved monster after the 3000 meters mark,"

Kiran was wise and did not allow his present success to Cloud his mind, if he met the stronger evolved monster, after the 3000 meters mark, he might die before help from the Academy came,

He looked forward towards the thicker forest trying to discern how dangerous it was, he heard the growls and cries of monsters ahead, though it was tempting, he turned back and started making his journey back to the Academy.

On his way, he killed as many monsters as he could making another 180 points on his way,

Now his total point had amounted to, 1680

"This is still far from my target" Kiran lamented, he wanted to buy the light energy basic elemental manual which was 5000 points, there was still some distance before he got there.

As Kiran entered the Academy there were murmurs of students everywhere, talking about his hunt.

"That bastard must have made a lot of points, while all of us here have lost our points".One of the old students bitterly said.

Kiran didn't mind them, he just kept walking towards his quarters, he didn't force them to bet on him, why would he concern himself about their lost money,

Though he felt a bit bad for the new students, most of them had not even gotten points, but they already owed Su Mo and himself points.

When he reached his room, he contacted Su Mo about his points, though Su Mo grumbled, he had sent him 1200 points,

300 points from the, points gotten from the live match he had with Sam, and the rest gotten from his live feed during his hunt.

Though he knew Su Mo had hidden some points, he had no way of knowing how many points Su Mo had made, he just made an estimate and knew it wasn't far from the points he had sent.

Now his total points were 2880 just 20 points away from 3000 points, with his number of points, he would be considered a wealthy student, but the things in the Academy store were so expensive, this amount wasn't even enough for what he wanted to buy.

" how do I get more points, I need to quickly get stronger before this months tournament between the new students and the old am sure none of the old stupids would show me pity, as they all hate me more now that they had lost their points in the bet" Kiran lamented.

He needed to quickly get stronger, or he would suffer in the hands of the old student, and deep down in Kirans heart, he wanted to fight the old students as equals, though he might have defeated Sam, he knew it was because of tricks, the old students would be careful whenever they fought him, his tricks might not work any longer.

He tapped his transponder looking into the student's blogs, trying to find ways he could improve his point making, the best one he saw was selling carcasses of evolved monsters to the school or students who wanted them.

But the problem with this method was that it was hard to accomplish, not all evolved monsters' body was useful, especially the low leveled ones, almost all students had hunted the evolved monsters whose body were useful, so not much of them could be found around the 3000 meters checkpoint.

throughout his hunt, all the beasts he had killed, their bodies could not be used for making evolution medicine or for making weapons, that is to show how scarce they were.

As he was lost in thought, a message came from both Airra and Sam, thanking him for making them win some points, he had been the one who advised them to bet on him reaching 3000 meters mark.

In the message, Airra explained that she had finished her basic classes and was also going for her first hunt tomorrow.

Kiran sent her some little information he knew about the forest and then wished her luck.

"I guess I have to continue hunting too until I find a better way of making points"

Day after day, Kiran went hunting, outside the Academy, there were even times he had gone together with Airra and Sam, he had gotten to know a lot about Sam, and now they had become friends, apart from Airra this was the second friend he had made.

Though they had hunted every day, they never crossed the 3000 meters mark, they had heard horrifying tales from Sam of how ignorant students were killed and eaten by the strong evolved monsters there.

Even though Sam was stronger than them, he had not crossed after the 3000 meters mark, he had wanted to improve his level to 9 level basic evolution and also buy a higher elemental technique before he entered deeper after the 3000 meters mark.

After the 3000 meter mark, there were a lot of strong monsters whose bodies could be used for both evolution liquid and for making weapons, students who hunted there made a lot of points, but you had to have enough strength to survive there first.

After a week of tireless hunting, Kiran's points were now 3800 he was almost close to the 5000 he needed, the Academy was going to release tasks for new students tomorrow, Kiran had prepared to take one of the tasks, he wanted to increase his points, and he also wanted to know what kind of task the Academy gave.

The Academy tasks always rewarded high points.
