Chapter Twenty-Three By an odd coincidence (I know better than to call it Fate), Lilly had held onto the photo of the missing girl that Recca had left in the bar. She had posted it on the corkboard by the bathrooms with Recca's number, in case anyone saw the girl. Lilly started her shift at 3:30. I went with her to Murphy's Tavern. Snagged the photo off the wall, on the off-chance that Miss Wanda might remember the girl. Borrowed Lilly's car so I could get to Cabot Row before rush hour kicked in. I wasn't fast enough, but it was a short drive, so the traffic wasn't too bad. Before heading out, I checked the Tapestry very carefully to ensure there was no possibility of running into Manny.
