Jude’s POV
Once we all arrived back at dad’s house, I ran inside to grab the things I needed. And thankfully the police officer was very quick to check my drivers license against the name on the marriage license.
“Congratulations, you’re free to go and get married!” He tells me with a slight grin as he hands the nescessary documents back to me. “But make sure that you drive safely. You should have just enough time to make it.”
“Yes, officer!” I say, and shake his hand. “Thank you!”
Then I was back behind the wheel, and taking care to drive cautiously with the police officer following right behind me as we make our way out of the neighborhood.
