I didn’t think I’d be going to Shelley’s so soon after seeing her, but apparently she’d called Thomas to tell him she had something to tell him.
I don’t know what Thomas had told her, but somehow he’d earned enough of her trust for her to apparently call about “weird dreams.” As far as Shelley knew, Peter and Shaun had been killed by wild animals. But Thomas had instructed her to call in case anything… unusual happened, and I supposed she was desperate enough that she’d taken him up on his offer.
Thomas had checked with her before inviting me, and I supposed I’d managed to build enough trust that she was okay with it. That was how I found myself outside Shelley’s mansion for the second time.
