A chill ran up my spine as the lights went out. The dining room was dark but thankfully the candles gave some light around. My Father stood up looking at my Mother.
"We shouldn't have come. I warned you they would smell us here and come hunting." He said, getting annoyed.
"We came because our child is engaged.. I'd be damned if a Vampire is going to ruin that for me." He said, snapping at him angrily.
