BELONGING TO THE ALPHA

Life!!! Life!!! Life!!!!. What do we call these words. What meaning does this four letter words have. Many at times, due to the name people mistake it thinking its all about happiness, joy, bed of roses. But to me, but to me, life its not that. It is a mystery that we cant solve or ascertain. No question can be solved totally in this life. Why life poses challenges, difficulties in our way, we dont even know. We only know that life is a big game that needs strict rules. It isnt for the weak because they tend to loose out of the mysterious competition. while others thrive to go on. Natalie, Natalie. those two times call snap me out of my thought. yes mumsi. I answered giving a peck to my mums head to which my mum smiled and pecked her back handing me my sandwich to take to school. Which I wouldn't be able to eat knowing fully well that i was late for school and that Emery was surely going to kill me for that. Bye momma I said and waved at her till i bounced into Emery's mesarati car. Emery is my neighbour but to me, she was way more than that. she was like my elder sister, bestie, mentor and supporter. She has being there for me throughout this mysterious game and throughout the time she felt she had no hope. She is a very rich girl and quite independent but acquires some from her parent. Shes being carrying me to school since the day i moved in here to gain my sanity and peacefulness. " hey" Emery said making me look at her closely. She had a caramel skin, long dark hair and very pretty. Sometimes, I wonder why she didnt go fir modelling where she would have gone for it and succeeded in it. " yes" I responded removing my eyes from her and looking at the road ahead. " Dont be scared. Its a new world for you and an avenue to correct some things life decided to place at her front." she said. I knew Emery could always sense me. Sometimes, I rarely believe her when she says she doesnt have powers. We are on the way to my new school. A very big school as I had heard. I was going there because of Emery. She decided that the best thing for me was a new scenery and new people but i really didnt want that. I only wanted to be among the people that knew me already. Though, i sounded like a lunatic wanting to be with people that made my life miserable. But i wasnt. I just didnt want to open up to new people or watch how people will call me different names. I wanted to be my own self. " stop thinking those things nate". ( the name Emery calls me) everything will be okay. Trust me" Emery said before parking in front of a big school lawn. I guess i was too engrossed not to see that we had already reached. The sight of the colour and the beauty caught my eyes. It was painted gold and purple with flowers aligning the entrance of the school. Thinking that the exterior of the building was breath taking was a mistake because the interior itself was awesome. Reaching the principal's office for Emery was easy and i couldnt understand that seeing that i kept looking at the dazzling view the school gave. For once in my life, my hideous thought was suppressed and i could only feel the beauty and nature of the building. We got into the building and the sound of the address system baffled me. WELCOME TO LAND HIGH COLLEGE. I HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR STAY. The whole school screamed money and I couldnt help but wonder how much the school cost. Emery was spending a whole lot for a whole me and yet, i couldnt pay ger back but one thing I know for a fact was that, I was lucky to have Emery as a friend. Emery was worth more than a thousand friends to me. Okay guys, hello. hope you enjoyed the first part of belonging to the alpha. This really is the first book i have written.
