“I have told you young lady do not let me repeat myself you are not going to the human world and that is final” ivy’s voice boomed in the corridors, montana turned to stare at her mother as tears slipped down her sweet innocent face. She always wondered why her mom has refused to let her leave the underworld and venture into the human world “mom I should be allowed to go to human world all my friends here have all gone to the human world so why can’t I ?” she whispered slowly as her mouth trembled as it tried holding in the sob that threatened to break out, her mother turned to look at her as she sighed in defeat her face softened at the sight of her heartbroken daughter she walks up to her taking montana’s hand and guiding her to the bed she hugs her close kissing her sweetly on the forehead. Montana eases into her mother’s embrace as she sighed softly “mona darling trust me when the time comes you can make as many trips as you want to the human world but for now please my dear just listen to your mother an do as I say” her mother muttered tiredly into her ears just by the sound of her voice montana realized that it was better to end the case for the peace of things. Later in the night montana tries sneaking back into her room when she hears a voice startling her she stops in her step unable to move her heart pounding into her ears hoping it wasn’t her mother or any of her personal servant. A hand suddenly lands on her shoulder “my princess is that you?” montana turns swiftly and comes to face with one of the guards, callistus “oh my its you callistus I thought it was my mother just now” montana heaved a sigh of relief “no your highness it’s just me ….would you like me to accompany you to your chambers?” montana smiled sweetly at him “that is really nice of you callistus of course I would really love that” callistus white face became rosy as he blushed shyly she stares at him smiling, callistus is a very cute guy they used to be friends when they were little but as they grew social distinction tore them apart “lead the way mi lady” as they walked through the silent halls montana tries to break the awkward silence “do you know what I was doing in the library today?” “hmmmm let me guess reading one of those books about the humans” “how did you know that ?” montana was surprised that he knew, callistus doesn’t work on the inside of the palace so it was weird that he knew about her obsession with the human world he turns to look at her his eyes sparkling under the dim light “when we were little you would go on and on about the human world and how exciting it was ……” “did you know that they move around on different kinds of horses like electric horses hey call them…..what was that …uhmmm …yes cars like they are so cool” she jumps up excitedly smiling wildly almost immediately she sighs sadly “I just wish I had a way of going there or mostly my mom would soften up and just let me go even if it’s just once” callistus is silent for a while “you know that you actually go on your own if you wanted without using the royal portal right …you’re a witch you can conjure a spell or something….” Montana suddenly stopped in her track turning to him her expression quite unreadable callistus cowered before her wondering if he had said anything wrong he cleared his throat “I mean ….it’s just a suggestion I did not mean anything by it” he stammered bowing his head. “oh my God callistus your such a genius but how am I supposed to get the spell I could use to conjure a spell” montana’s face screwed with worry “you’re the daughter of the most powerful witch in the whole world and lucifer is your father I’m sure that you can figure something out” he says as he guides her to her room he stands to watch her go in. montana turns to look at him she leans in closely and pecks him on the check “thanks for being a very good friend callistus” he bows his head as the blush on his face grew fiercely “it is an honour to be of help to you mi lady” she turns to enter her room but hesitates as she turns slowly to face him “callistus our conversation…..can it be a secret please” “you have my word” she flashes on last smile as she enters her room. Meanwhile, In one of the numerous hidden tunnel under the palace whispered voices could be heard “she has finally taken the bait you can tell our lord that the plan is already set to motion and that she will soon journey to the human world”.
