Ben Pov

It’s been almost three weeks since I met Savannah and what a few weeks. She is loving attentive, charasmatic, sexy, innocent, beautiful. Most girls that I have dated have only ever seen me for my positon as managng director of my Dad’s company.

But Savannah is different. I think because she has money; but doesnt’t come from money she see things totally differently. Like for instance on our first date she tried to slide money across the table to me for the meal. The other girls would just expect me to foot the bill. And the fact that I’m her first that too is realy special and very rare.

It’s her birthday this Friday. She is 21. I want to make it memeorable for her. She deserves nothing less. I know I’ve only known her for three weeks but I want her to be mine forever. I want to marry her.

Savannah Pov

Everyone is being edgey and secretive. It’s my 21st on Friday. I’ve told everyone I don’t want a big fuss being made. I’m happy I’m spending my birthday in a palce I love with the people I love.

Tasha and Sam are very quicky becoming my best friends. We go to the beach to the bar.. They also took me shopping which was a real eye opening experience. Ben gave them his credit card told them anything I wanted get it for me. I got new jewlery clothes underwear. New shoes. I did insit on buying myself something but each time I got out my purse; I was told off.

My mum and Dad are cool with me being with Ben. They think he’s great. I mean come on he’s a god. And I get to wake up every morning with said god. He treats me like a princess which my Dad seems good with. I am his baby girls afterall. But I do feel a little ovewhelmed at times because Ben could have any girl and he chose me.

Today is Thursday the day before my 21st. Ben, Dean, Tash, Daniel and Sam are taking me out for the day. Ben has told me nothing except that I’m going to love it. My Mum and Dad and Juliet and Peter are beibg jittery as well. We are having breakfast. Its become a bit of a routine now that we have all our meals together.

Ben Pov

“So everything is set?”. I check with everyone before Savannah joins us. I’ve decided that I ‘m going to propose to Savannah tomorrow night. Today I’m taking her with Tasha and the gang to Truro for some shopping and to see what rings she likes. I’m hoping to do it secretively. I’ve had the go ahead form her mum and dad.

Savannah joins us for beakfast she is truly radiant. We went three times last night. I could take her all day everyday. She truly is amazing.

“Are we all ready? We need to get going soon”

“Where are we going? Why so secretive?”. Savannah asks. I kiss the back of her neck and whisper

“Its all part of your 21st and it’s all for you”. Savannah giggles. I look over at Tasha who just smiles

“What?” I ask

“You’re glowing. You look so happy Ben and we are all loving it. Savannah is truly amazing don’t ever let her go!”

“I’m not planning on letting her go anywhere”.

We plie into two cars. Daniel drives his and take my mum’s and Dads merc with Savannah. It’s a great drive. My parents and Savannah’s parents are staying behind and getting everything sorted for tommorow.

We arrive in Truro. I’ve told Savannah that anything she wants I will get it for her. She does of course tell me I’ve bought enough for her; however I want to spoil her. I park up and run round to her door. I open her door. She smiles shyly

“You know I will never get used to you treating me like a princess. But thank you”. I take her hand raise it to my lips

“You are my princess and should be treated as such”.

We catch up to the others and we go shopping. Anything Savannah sees I get it. We go in every shop. Finally I see what I’ve ben looking for a jewlery shop. I signal for Tasha and Sam to do their part, which is to drag her off to the shop and point out rings like women do and to try and sneakliy see which one Savannah would like.

Tasha Pov.

Ben gives me and Sam the signal. Ben and the boys go off and do their own thing. We take Savannah off to the jewlery shop. Sam is excited but I tell her to cool it. Sam rolls her eyes. I love my sister I really do.

We look at the necklaces, barcelets and watches. They are beautiful. I may have to bring Dean back here. Savannah is looking nervous

“Savannah? Are you Ok?”. Savannah looks at me. She wants to ask me something but she stops herself.

“Savannah. Look I can tell you are a little overwhelmed by this. Ben loves you. He is the happiest I have ever seen him in a long time and that is thanks to you”

“But why me? He could have any girl. Why me?. I’m just a plain Jane”. I say sadly

“Because you are’nt like most girls. You are special to Ben because you don’t expect anything from him. You know he told me that on your first date you wanted to pay for yourself. That has never happened”. Savannah gives me a confused look “Wait really? Girls have just expected him to pay. Surely that’s not right”. I look at Savannah . I am truly in awe of her. She is going to make Ben a wonderful wife.

I take her up to the rings. Sam is looking at them like Gollum form the Lord of the Rings. Savannah and I laugh.

Ok here we go. I sway Savannah to the rings. There is vast array of rings. Savannah is one lucky girl

“Savannah? Hypothecial question Which ring would you say yes to?”.

“Hypothetical?”. Savannah looks at me curiously.

Savannah looks closely at the platnium rings. Then she goes over to the yellow gold. Then the white gold and finally the silver. She scrunches her nose as she studies the rings. She then goes back to the white gold and selects a small solitare princess cut diamond. Its beautiful and modest like her. I look to Sam and she takes her to look at the other jewlery. I sneakily go into the shop and ask to take a picture of the ring. I explain to the shop owner. I send the picture over to Ben.

Ben Pov.

I’m nervosly waitng for Tasha to send me the picture. Dean and Daniel are doing their best to distract me. I finally get it through. I open the message. Wow. Its’ a modest diamond. Princess cut. Its either platnium or white gold. It’s beautiful. Just like her. I show Dean and Daniel who approve.

I make my way over to the jewlery store we ave arranged to meet the girls at the car park in 20 minutes. Her mum gave me Savannah’s ring size so I’m really hoping they have they it in her size. As luck would have as soon as I show the shop owner she has the ring at the ready

“Its a modest diamond set in white gold. Sir”. I smile. The picture doent do it any justice. “Its a size O”. This is meant to be! The exact size Savannah is!.

“This one please”. The shop owner smiles and boxes up the ring.

“Thats £300 please”. Wait What? Savannah could have chosen any ring but she chose one for less that £500. Oh Savannah you truly are amazing.

We go back to the cars to find the girls waiting paitently. I nod to the girls I got the rings. Sam paractically jumps on the spot. Tasha smiles a huge smile. I unlock the car and open the door for Savannah. She kisses me on the cheek

“Thank you or today. I’ve really enjoyed myself”.

We drive back to the site. We deicide to go to the resturaunt on site and then the club for the entertainement and maybe even a dance. Savannah goes off to get ready and I show the girls the ring.

“Ben Savannah is the perfect girl for you. I’m so happy for you. I cant wait for tommorow. It’s going to be epic”. Sam hugs me.
