Chapter 6

Savannah Pov.

I get ready for our night out. I chose to wear a blue pair of jeans and a sparkly black top. I again keep my make up natural. I put my curly hair up into a messy but elegant bun. Ben and the gang are already waiting for me.

We have an amazing dinner then we head over to the main complex. Its huge. There are a vast array of different machines 2p’s and 10p’s. There are slot machines claw machines VR rides there is even a soft play area for the kids. Its busy and noisy. We all head in to the bar area.

The boys order our drinks whie we find a table. I spot the thugs from the beach and we steer away to a different quieter area. I don’t think they saw us. There is an entertainer on at the moment. Then there’s a disco. I’m in the mood for dancing.

We sit drinking our drinks waiting for the disco. Finally Cheap thrills by Sia strats playing. I try to get Ben up

“I’d rather watch you”. Ben growls. I make my way to the dance floor with Tasha and Sam. And I let go. I sway my hips raise my hands in the air. I love dancing. I cant dance for toffee but there you go. I feel hands on my hips I open my eyes to see we are surounded by the thugs

“Well hello Ladies we meet again.” I push his hands away

“Keep your f***ing hands to your self!” I yell.

“Come on sugar its just a bot of harmless fun”. I slap him hard. Then Ben grabs him pushes him away. The thug takes a swing at him. Ben ducks and punches the thug out cold. He looks at the other thugs “Keep your hands off my gilrfriend”. Daniel and Dean are stood with Tasha and Sam.

The thugs leave. Ben takes me in his arms and dances with me. I feel the tension in his arms. I take his face in my hands and kiss him gently

“Thank you. You are my knight in shinning armour”.

Ben Pov

I’m fumming! How dare that f***er put his hands on my girl. I pull Savannah into my arms and she come willingly. She can feel the tension. She gently kisses me

“Thank you for being my knight in shinning armour”. I ‘m taken a back.

“You don’t ned to thank me honey. I protect what’s mine. You are my girl”.

“I’ll alawys be your girl”. I kiss her and contine dancing.

At 10.30 we decide to go back to the caravan. Savannah’s mum and Dad are watching tv in the lounge. We decide to call it a night and head for bed. Savannh has a big day ahead of her and I want ther to be well rested.

The following morning I wake a little earlier. There is already activty goig on in the lounge. Savannah’s parents are setting up the living room. They’ve bough two huge silver balloons in the shape of a 2 and 1. There are banners in silver and purple. My parents have set up breakfast in the dinning area Mum has gone all out. Tasha and Sam are setting up all the presents.

Savannah walks in. “Happy Birthday” we all say. Savannah smiles “I di dtell you I did’nt want a fuss but thank you”.

Savannah Pov

I walk int the lounge and I ‘m greeted with a choras of “Happy Birthday Savannah!”. I jump back slightly. “Guys I told you I didn’t want a fuss making”. I look around and smile clearly they have all put the effort in. “Thank you”.

We have breakfast. Jule has gone all out. Pancakes, Bacon, Muffins, Jam its yummy. Then I’m told to sit in the middle of the floor as it’s present time.

I’m handed a big box decorated in purple and silver form Tasha and Sam “This is from us and the boys”. Tasha smiles. I untie the ribbon inside I find £500 in cash. Bathbombs, make up. Face masks and a bottle of my faviourte perfume Daisy.

“Thank you so much guys”

Next I’m handed an envelope from Julie and Peter. They have gifed me £1000.

“Thank you Julie and Peter”.

Then Ben gives a small rectangular box. Inside is a beautiful diamond bracelett.

“This is only the first part the second part is coming later”. I look at him confused

“Ok. You know you all didn’t have to goto so much trouble”

“Of course we do dear. Its not everyday our daughter turns 21 now is it?”. Mum says handing me a card. Then she hands me a little box. I hear a nosie. I tear off the wrapping. Inside is a key. A car key. An Audi car key.

With wide eyes I look at my mum and dad “You didn’t!”. I whisper. My mum and dad smile “Maybe!”. I run outsude not caring that I am still in my pj’s. There is a brand new Audi Q6. Silver Just like my Dad’s. The number plate has my initals on and my age 21. I unlock the car inside I find balloons and flowers.

“This is so geneous of you all. Thank you everyone so much.

Ben Pov

I think the morning has gone well so far. I call the italian resturant where we had our first date and confirmed all the details. I’ve got it all planned. So tonight we will have some champange at the caravan. Then take an uber to the resturant. And when it comes to pudding I’ve arranged for the ring to be put on her favorite pudding. Chocolate and Raspberry cheesecake. Then I will get down on one knee next to her and pop the question.

I ensure that Savannh is spoilt and distracted. Before I know it’s time to leave for the resturant. I can feel the nerves beginning to build. We drink the champange. Then we pile into the limo (I told Savannah we were going to the resturant on site for dinner).

We pull up outside the italian resturant. Savannah looks at me

“Our first date”. Savannah has tears in her eyes. We are lead to a private area. Its been decorated beautifully in silver and purple. Savannah loves it.

We sit and eat and drink and enjoy each others company. I signal for the dessert to be bought out. Here we go.

Savannah Pov

I cant believe Ben. He told me were staying on site. I was happy with that. The resturant where we had our first date. I mean wow. We have a private area which has been decorated in my favoirite colours.

I order my favoirte past a dish spagetti bolognase. I have a red wine. I enjoy everyone’s company. Its a lovely evening. Then a waiter brings out a slice of cheesecake chocolate and raspberry. There is only one slice. I then notice Sam’s eyes light up. I look down and in the cheesecake is a beautiful ring. Not just any ring though. It’s the ring I chose hypothetically with Tasha. I look to Tasha then Ben stands up, get down on one knee and I finally click what is happening

“Savannah. You are the love of my life. I love your sprit, your soul, everything. I know its quick. But please do me the honor of becoming my wife. Savannah Johnson Will you Marry Me?”

I put my hand on my chest to steady my breathing. I look into Bens eyes he is being serious. I look at everyone. They all knew!.

“Yes! A thousand times Yes!”. The room erupts with cheers and clapping. Ben takes the ring form the cheesecake licks off the frosting and place it on my finger. It its perfectly. Suddenly I am surrounded by Tasha and Sam who are screaming “sister” at me. My Mum pulls me into a hug. Followed by Juliet and Peter who welcome me to the family then my Dad

“My little girl. He’s definatley a keeper”.

Ben Pov

She said Yes!. I cant believe it. I’m quickly pulled into hugs by my parents Daniel Dean. Ann and James.

“Look after my girl”. I shakes Jame’s hand “I will sir”. My mum then hands me a room key

“I’ve booked you a room at the Atlantic. Mine and your Dads treat.”. I hug my mum. I find Savannah she has tears in her eyes. “I hope they are happy tears?”. Savannah nods. I pull her into a hug. She burys her face in the cook of my neck.

“My mum has booked us a room at the Atlantic. Why don’t we say goodnight and go over. I’d like you to myself for a few hours”. I wink at her and she smiles. We say our goodnights and go to the hotel.

At the desk we are congratulated and shown up to our room. Mum has booked one of the best suits. Its huge. There is even a botlle of champange waitng for us. Savannah goes out on to the balcony. She takes a breath of the niht air then looks down at her ring

“How did you know about the ring?”. I feel sheepish “You remember yesterday when Tasha took you to the jewlery store?. She sent me a picture of the ring and I went to get it.It just happened to be in your size”.

Savannah shakes her head. Then she leads me inside and to the bed.

“Oh fiancee of mine. Take me now. Take me to heaven.
