The delicious smell of food woke me up from my sleep— only for me to realize that it was Nicholas who brought breakfast for me in bed.
"Good morning" I greeted, rubbing my eyes as I still had blurry visions.
Nicholas sat down near me and pecked me on the forehead. "Good morning love"
I tried to sit upright. "What's with the breakfast?" I asked. Even when I knew the significance, I still wanted him to explain.
"It's for you. I thought you would not be able to leave bed this morning, so I brought breakfast for you, "he explained to me.
"Hmmm"
"What makes you think that I won't be able to leave bed?"
"I don't know, what do you think? Can you really leave bed?" He asked, leaning forward and kissing me on the lips.
