Adele's POV "Congratulations Alpha, The Luna is pregnant" I heard the Royal physician announce excitedly. I turned towards my husband, the Alpha of Bluemoon pack and my first love. Awaiting his reply to the beautiful news of our newly conceived werewolf pup. He only gazed at me with a long frown on his face. "Bruce, I'm pregnant. I'm finally going to have your pup." I said to him in excitement. He only nodded his head at me. "Let's go" he said coldly, making the physician and I exchanged glances awkwardly. I wondered what was wrong. The ride back to the mansion was silent, Bruce didn't say anything or even try to congratulate me on the pregnancy. I suddenly felt sick because of his actions. However, I was still excited. Maybe he was just surprised. My husband, Alpha Bruce and I have been married for over three years and trying for an heir too. During these few years, Bruce had been on my side despite everything. Despite the pressure from the pack's elders and his families, he was still by my side. Everyone called me barren, I was insulted and rumored to be cursed. He was even persuaded to marry another she-wolf that would conceive for him– but Bruce refused, he made me understand that he didn't want to cheat on me and that he loved me so much. I believed and trusted him. He was my husband and the man I've loved for many years. We arrived at the packhouse in less than thirty minutes and Bruce excused himself. I wanted to speak to him concerning his recent attitude toward me. However, I allowed him to leave and calm his nerves. Yet, I was still wondering what was wrong with Bruce? Why did he shun me in that manner? Soon, the maids prepared my bath and I went to the bathroom, sliding into the bathroom of lukewarm water, allowing it to dominate my body as I had them prepare a bath of Bruce's favorite scent. Despite the fact that I was pregnant, I anticipated spending a romantic night with him when he returned. As his gift for fulfilling my one wish by getting me pregnant with his child, his future heir. It was almost midnight, I was dressed up in red, sexy lingerie. My hair was braided in the most favorite style he always liked. I waited for him in bed, hoping that he would return and make love to me as he unusually did. But my wait became futile as he was yet to return tonight. I was enraged and at the same time frightened that something must've happened to him. I wore a robe and headed out of the room in search of his Beta, Alex. To confirm his whereabouts. Just when I headed out of the room, I came across Alex outside the chamber, guarding the door. "Beta Alex" I called out to him. "Where is my husband? Why isn't he back yet?" I asked him. He stared at me, looking nervous and worried. He didn't reply to my question but the look on his face already gave him in. "What's going on with the Alpha? Is he alright?" I asked him again. "My lady, I don't know his whereabouts. He also shutdown our mind-link" he revealed to me. "What do you mean by you don't know his whereabouts? Answer me Alex!" I yelled at him and rushed inside the room and grabbed my car keys. "Did you check his penthouse? His private hotel suite?" I asked and he shook his head. "It didn't occur to me to check his penthouse. I've only checked the hotels and he wasn't there" Beta Alex explained. I rushed out quickly and went for my car, as I was about to drive out, Beta Alex hurriedly joined me in order to search for him. On the way there, I tried his number several times but he didn't pick up. I became very worried to the extent that it affected my child and I began to feel abdominal pains. The ride to his private penthouse was about two hours and I couldn't do it anymore, due to the pain I felt in my stomach. I allowed Alex to continue the ride until we got to the penthouse somewhere in the city. Bruce mostly comes here whenever he is being pressured or had to think. I wondered why he came here this time, maybe he was disturbed about the pregnancy because he became this way after I was confirmed positive. Alex and I rushed into the house, I had a spare key so we went inside with it. Approaching the room where we suspected Bruce was in, I heard soft moans and groans coming from inside. I recognized Bruce's voice. I didn't want to believe that what I was hearing was true, was Bruce really inside having s*x with a woman? Alex and I exchanged glances, he could already notice the grief on my face as I approached the door knob slowly. I breathed deeply before turning it open and I met Bruce in bed with my step sister, Ariel. I was astounded, my face turned red instantly. They were so engrossed in their act that they didn't notice me and Alex at the entrance. Tears streamed down my face as I stared at the scene in front of me. "B.. Bruce" I found myself calling out to him. Ariel noticed me first and she giggled at me, while Bruce f****d her from behind. I sighed and yelled out his name so that he would notice me. "Adele, what are you doing here?" Bruce asked, moving away from my sister. He instantly put on a coat and he came at me. "Don't touch me, Bruce." I rebuked him quickly. I felt pain in my heart, this was the man I've loved for so many years. Even before we got married. I know that he wasn't my mate, but we loved each other and got married. I never expected this from him. To make it worse, I was carrying his baby, his little pup. How could he do this to me? "Why did you do this?" I screamed, pushing him off me. Bruce tried to grab me, I didn't allow him. I was enraged. Ariel just laid on the bed, watching us fight. I was angry at her for cheating me this way. How could she sleep with my husband?
