BRUCE After my last encounter with Adele, I realized that I had made a huge mistake by losing a woman like Adele. She had never done anything wrong to me— in fact she had loved me ever since we were kids. How could I have hurt her so much that she saw me as a monster? I stood up from the bed and wrapped a bath robe around my body. Turning to gaze at the woman on the bed who was Ariel, she had deceived me into leaving Adele. I loved Adele and I still do. I went outside the room after picking up my cigarette and lighter from the drawer and I went outside to smoke. Maybe a little puff would help me clear off my thoughts.
