A large map of Moon Valley is spread across the table with every entrance and patrol route marked.
Derek: "No one leaves the valley alone until the Blood Moon has passed."
Mason: "Border patrols have been doubled."
Luna Clara: "The families are frightened."
Derek: "Fear is exactly what our enemy wants. We stay united."
The council agrees to strengthen the valley's defenses.
Emily carefully examines the silver pendant that belonged to Derek's mother.
She notices tiny moon-shaped carvings inside that no one had seen before.
Holding it to the sunlight reveals a hidden map etched into the metal.
Emily: "This isn't decoration."
Victor: "It's a guide."
Derek: "A guide to what?"
Victor studies it closely.
Victor: "To somewhere your parents wanted only you to find."
Following the hidden map, Derek, Emily, Mason, and Victor hike into an unexplored part of the forest.
They discover a ruined stone shrine covered with vines and ancient wolf symbols.
The air feels strangely calm.
Emily's crescent mark glows as she steps inside.
A hidden stone doorway slowly opens.

Marcus: "Do we attack now?"
The Dark Alpha shakes his head.
Dark Alpha: "No. Let Derek uncover the truth."
Marcus: "Why?"
Dark Alpha: "Because the truth will lead him exactly where I need him to go."
Before leaving, Emily touches another ancient carving.
A powerful vision overwhelms her.
She sees:
Derek's parents placing a glowing crystal into the Sacred Chamber.
The Hooded Dark Alpha fighting Derek's father.
A silver wolf shielding a crying child.
A voice repeating:
"The heart must never fall into darkness."
Emily collapses.
Sarah, who accompanied the group, rushes to help her.
The group rests before returning home.
Derek sits beside the campfire with Victor.
Derek: "You knew more than you told me."
Victor lowers his head.
Victor: "Your parents made everyone swear an oath of silence."
Derek: "Even from me?"
Victor: "Especially from you."

He pauses.

The crowd grows silent.

The pack raises their hands in support, renewing their faith in their Alpha.
Emily watches proudly, seeing Derek inspire hope instead of fear.
After everyone leaves, a loose stone in the shrine wall falls away on its own.
Behind it lies another sealed letter from Derek's mother.
A gust of wind carries it from the shrine toward Moon Valley.
At the same moment, the Hooded Dark Alpha senses that another secret has been uncovered.
He quietly says:
Dark Alpha: "The past is waking... and soon, so will the darkness beneath the mountain."
As Derek looks up at the night sky, the moon begins to take on a faint crimson glow days before the expected Blood Moon. Beneath the Sacred Temple, the Crystal Heart pulses once, sending a wave of energy across Moon Valley.
Far below the mountain, two glowing red eyes slowly open in the darkness.
