I wandered through the forest, my feet bare and my senses alive.
The sunlight filtering through the trees danced across my face, and the scent of wildflowers filled my lungs.
I felt free, unshackled from the constraints of the pack's watchful eyes.
With Akira away, I could finally explore without worrying about someone hovering over my shoulder, warning me of potential dangers.
I reveled in the silence, the only sounds being the rustle of leaves and the chirping of birds.
As I walked, the trees grew taller, and the underbrush thicker.
My heart raced with excitement, my senses heightened.
I felt like a kid in a candy store, eager to discover new wonders around every corner.
I climbed over a fallen log, my hands digging into the bark. The forest floor was a tapestry of colors, with wildflowers of every hue stretching towards the sky. I twirled, my hair spinning around me like a whirlwind.
In this moment, I knew I would always cherish this sense of freedom, this feeling of being untethered and unbridled. The forest was my playground, and I was its happiest inhabitant.
My carefree exploration came to an abrupt end as I stumbled upon a clearing, and my instincts screamed warning. I had wandered too far, into territory that didn't feel like the pack's. The air was heavy with an eerie silence, and the trees seemed to loom over me like sentinels.
Suddenly, figures emerged from the shadows, their eyes gleaming with an unnatural light. I froze, my heart racing with fear. I didn't know what they were, but they were terrifying. Their faces were deathly pale, and their movements were swift and jerky.
I tried to run, but my legs were like lead. The creatures closed in on me, their eyes fixed on me with an unblinking stare. I was paralyzed with fear, unable to move or speak.
Just as all hope seemed lost, a snarling form burst from the underbrush, sending the creatures flying. Luna stood over me, teeth bared, her eyes blazing with a fierce protectiveness. But her expression was also tinged with reluctance, as if she had saved me only because she had to.
Luna stretched her hand towards me to help me up , but her eyes remained cold.
"You sure have a habit of getting into trouble human" she said.
she sounded as cold as her uncle.
what else could you expect, Akira had raised her from when she was a child after her father his brother passed away so it wouldn't be unusual for her to act like him.
"I really don't see what Akira sees in you or the reason he's bent on keeping you in the pack when you don't belong here" she said.
"..............." I wanted to say something but what could I say?
she was right.
"even an omega could take on a low rank vampire like that" she said waving her hand with pride as she raised her chin.
"I hate to do this but Akira asked me to keep an eye out for you while he was gone because he knew you always get into trouble, so I'll be watching you, fragile human" she said.
with that, she shap-shifted and jumped into the woods.
