Chapter Four Queen ShanoreWeathered columns of marble stood tall next to trees born at the beginning of time. The children were escorted between these great monuments and into a great hall. Eight more marble columns supported a timber ceiling. Beside these great columns, frames of green glass shimmered here and there where random beams of light fell through the canopy. The walls were decorated with wild forest paintings that were not clear enough to enjoy under the green haze that seemed to come from no particular place. When the doors opened a soft light brightened the room, lighting up the ceilings and walls a little more.
