(Olivia's POV)
After Ava went into the hospital building—Mark didn't even bother to greet her—I felt uneasy. I asked him, "Mark, do you think Ava just came for her normal medical checkup?"
Mark stood next to me, his golden eyes watching my face. He smiled, held my hands, and led me to the car park.
"Do you think she came here for something else? Like, what do you think?" he asked softly, and I felt slightly uneasy.
"Nothing," I mumbled, not wanting to say what was on my mind. After all, Ava was Alpha Johnson's daughter. Who would believe me over her? What if I got punished for speaking ill of her?
When Mark and I arrived at his car, he turned me slowly to face him and said, "Oli, I don't want you to worry about Ava. I will talk to my parents, and my stance about you remains the same,
