Chapter One.
The Stokes family was just starting to spiral downward when Celine's parents, Mr and Mrs Stokes, learned that their daughter had lung cancer.
They were all greatly surprised because Celine had been healthy up until the previous week, when she began experiencing shortness of breath. In addition, Celine had been losing weight mysteriously.
Celine's parents opted not to tell her school about her condition so that she could experience her life like a baby should.
Opiels Health and Medicals had just released Celine. Celine came home not knowing her condition and when she met her grandma Judy she was very happy because she had not seen her beloved grandma for a while.
Celine spent her whole day with her grandma.
Celine Stokes was to continue the rest of the ter the next day. She wasn't entirely happy because she was always laughed at. While her mother, Mrs Stokes, drove Celine and her two younger brothers, Cole and Camden to school, Celine complained to her mother that she was being bullied at school.
This was not the first time Celine had told her mother this. Mrs Stokes had to reassure her three little children that it was just a phase in every teenager's life.
Celine Stokes has been out of school for fourteen days and grade 11 students were due to take practice exams. This was to test their skills and ensure their preparation for upcoming external exams.
Celine seemed like the bright and intelligent student in her class, so her teachers didn't think a week or two would affect her mock exams. Catalina, one of Celine's bully girlfriends, had just started teasing her.
Celine was lying on the floor! Her best friend, Penelope, asked the others for help to take her to the clinic, but no one accepted to help, and Tate helped them, and they took Celine to the school's clinic.
Celine had just passed out and, after a series of ventolin inhalations, she was revived. She woke up to find herself in the medical ward of her school.
Westover Schools have a policy that if a child has a health problem, the parents are notified. The school immediately invited Mr and Mrs Stokes to the campus and informed them of what had just happened.
Celine's father wanted to tell the school that Celine had lung cancer and how she would die in less than a year, but her mother knew what Celine went through at school, so she pleaded and Celine was brought home.
After Celine was driven home, she sat in the living room with her brother Cole and her grandmother, Judy. They were all watching Cole's favorite TV show, Talking Tom and Friends, when Grandma Judy asked Celine to get her tea bags from the kitchen.
On the way to the kitchen, Celine passed her father's room, and she heard her father suggest to her mother, "Why don't we put her in the orphanage? She will die soon; she is of no value".
Celine knew that it was her they spoke of. They would never think of keeping Mrs Judy at an orphanage, and she was the only girl, so she had no doubt, and she knew that her father was talking about her.
Leaving behind what her grandma had sent her, she rushed into her room and cried the whole time.
Mrs Judy had wondered where Celine had ended up, it was just a tea bag she had asked her to bring. Mrs Judy went into the kitchen and no one was there. She decided to go into Celine's room. She caught Celine moaning, and she tried to talk to her.
Celine had tears in her eyes. She didn't expect her father to say so much about her. Celine told her grandmother about what she had just heard.
Judy found that it would have broken Celine's heart even more if she hadn't told Celine about her condition. Judy told Celine that she had lung cancer.
There was silence in the room for a while. Celine wiped her tears, jumped out of bed, walked over to the desk, turned on the desk lamp and wrote.
"I am leaving so soon, so I plan to do a lot of crazy things, and they go like this.
1. Have s*x with both the same gender and the opposite gender
2. Kill father
3. Be known as the world's heaviest female
4. Give my life back to Christ
So help me God"
