Kage sighed as he packed clothes into the suitcase Mika had given him. He had been surprised when he got out of the hospital last week with Kagami and their room at Hikaru and Mika’s house already had clothes for them. More surprised when he noticed that Kagami had clothes that showed off their more feminine features and Kage’s highlighted their more masculine features. He glanced at the mirror on the dresser between their beds. His eyes were still silver-flecked crimson, the sign of a demonic Nephilim that incited sin rather than devouring it. He reached up to touch his right arm where Kieran had clawed him, the scars hidden by the hoodie he was wearing. Kieran hadn’t seen or spoken to him since that night, and Hikaru had been ordered to take Kage to neutral territory for his first shift
