Kieran, Altina called out to Kieran. He had run off the night before and ignored everyone’s attempts to contact him. She could feel his anger through the Mate Bond but couldn’t use it to find him. Maison had already started asking about him and Kage at breakfast and Altina had to lie to the boy and tell him they both left early for a doctor’s appointment but would be back later.
Maison had spent most of the morning organizing his toys into groups to show Kage. He also roped Altina into helping him make a blanket fort in the living room. It was almost lunchtime and Kieran still hadn’t contacted her.
They had found his phone in the remains of his clothes from the day before on the edge of Hikaru and Mika’s backyard.
