Kage clung to Kieran’s arm in the backseat of Hikaru’s car, sitting between him and Altina and hissing at her every time she tried to reach out to touch Kieran. It had been hours before they had finally been able to leave the courthouse. Kagami was in the middle seat of the three-row SUV, sleeping peacefully.
They pulled into a driveway and Hikaru pressed a button that caused the large, attached garage door to open, revealing a second car already parked inside that they parked next to. Kage frowned as he looked around and everyone got out.
