I had left the country club half an hour ago, and my phone had not stopped buzzing since then. Nicole and Jasper had been calling me and sending me text messages, asking me where the hell I was and telling me that they’re worried. But their worry wasn’t my concern. There was only one thing that I wanted, and that was to know what Sam and Dean were up to.
As soon as I reached Sam’s neighborhood, I parked my car far enough not to catch any attention. Quietly, I got off the car, and like Solid Snake from Metal Gear, I went on full stealth mode, moving slowly over the grassy lawn toward a yellow Chevy Camaro where I saw Sam and Dean, lying flat on the hood and…talking.
I reached them without making any noise and hid silently behind the car, attentively listening to them.
