THE HALF OF ME

Looks can be really deceiving. I know that you can’t trust a person just because you find him/her trustworthy. Because behind those angelic face and killer smile is a devil in disguise. I was once decieve by that devil. I don’t even know how. Maybe he hypnotize me? OMG. What if? O my. This can’t be real. Well, that’s not really important now. He may have decieve me before but that’s all in the past now. We both have our own new life. Him, right now is happy waiting for someone. At the end of a long aisle. He’s patiently waiting with smile and teary eye. When bell rang. A signal that someone has arrive. Everybody puts a smile on their face while facing the brown wide door. And when the door opened revealing a beautiful woman wearing a white sleeveless sweetheart shaped gown everyone looks at her with awe. She slowly walk towards me with a faint smile on her face. Nervousness is visible through her face. “Finally. You’re here. We’ve been waiting for millions of seconds’ ago. I thought you ran away already”. I joke to make her feel at east. “I’ve been waiting for these. Why would I ran away? Haha” I stretch my hands to her. “Let’s go? He’s waiting.” She glance at the end and look at me afterward. “Thank you” she then hug me. A smile creep to my face and hug her too. And finally… she held my hand. And now I have to do my duty. To walk her at the end of the aisle. To take her to the devil who disguise himself in front of me. He’s not THAT kind of devil. He’s the devil of my past. Who’s now revealing his true self to his destined angel. I held his destined angle’s hand and my once a devil’s hand and held it together. I look at their hand when they instantly intertwined it. I smile and look at him. Happiness and contentment is visible in his face. When he look at me I smiled widely. “Take care of her. She’s… the only one I have. All my life is dedicated to her. Very precious to me. So please… don’t make me regret letting her go to you.” I can feel that any time from now my tears will fall but I’m suppressing it. I know that I may not given them my full blessing I still know where I place myself. And I can’t let my emotion take over me. Not now. I was surprise when he suddenly hug me. So tight that I can feel what is this hug meant. I know, my devil. I’m happy. I know I am. Please be happy too. “Thank you so much. I’m gonna take good care of her I promise.” I smiled to both of them and go to my place. The place where I belong. Life is full of surprises. And this is one of them. We may have a lot of similarities but we have a different ending. He may have been my first but I will never be his last ‘cause right now. He’s gonna marry someone who looks like me but a different person. My twin sister.
