Katherine’s POV The crystal ball shattered into thousands of small pieces as it collided with the concrete wall across the room. The pieces fell like rain, shattering even more as they dropped to the ground. The glow surrounding it faded as the magic in the ball evaporated into the air, dissolving into nothing.
