Alexandra’s POV I blinked repeatedly as the bright light slowly faded to nothing. My vision was shot as I tried to adjust now that the light was gone. It took a while but steadily the white specs that danced around my eyes slowly disappeared. Once they did, I stared at my hands in shock. There was no pain. The agony that previously plagued my body, that had me sobbing and contemplating suicide was completely gone without a trace. Like it had never even existed in the first place. My veins no longer felt like fire coursed through them and my skin no longer felt like I was being stabbed with thousands of needles.
