Kira's pov: "Kira come down here! You're gonna be late!" my mom yelled at me. Why do I have to go to school here? We were perfectly fine in Chicago. I get out of my bed and take a guns and roses black t-shirt and black ripped jeans out from one of the boxes that lay around my bed. "C'mon Kira!" "I'm coming mom!" I get dressed and go down the stairs. On my way I see my big sister Elizabeth doing her make-up in her room. I don't understand how she can like that much make-up. I roll my eyes at her and she frowns back and closes the door. My sister was always the popular one in the school. But we don't really have a great relationship. All she really cares about is how she looks like, boys and social media. I never had a boyfriend and I'm not planning to have one in any time soon. I arrive to the kitchen and my mom smiles at me. Her smile always cheers me up for some reason but, this time it did nothing. "Mom why do we have to do this? Wasn't it good enough in Chicago?" "I know you don't want this baby. But with all of the drama with your dad-I thought it would be good to live in a smaller town" she looks down with a sad face. Oh no, I hate when mom does that. She always helps others and puts others' needs before her own. "It's OK mom. That Jerk it's the one to blame. I'm going to try. OK?" she smiles, tears in her eyes. "thank you baby" I hug her. Elizabeth comes down and just frowns. "Is there anything to eat? I'm starving" She sees an apple and bites in it. My mom gives me my lunch and I put it in my backpack "I'm going" my mom looks at me in surprise "wasn't I supposed to take you in the car? " "it's alright mom it's only four blocks away" she nods "have a great day at school!" I give her a quick peck on the cheek, take my backpack, pull on my shoes and get out from the door. I heard they have a gym here. I look at my tattooed arms. I got slappy! I haven't got a chance to go to the gym for two weeks with all those daddy dramas. Stop Kira. I tell myself. It's a beautiful day so I need to enjoy it. I decide to take a run. I put my pearl white hair in a bun. I take my headphones and telephone out and put some AC/DC and begin running, at least I can move a little bit. When I arrive to the school just as I see my 'Big Sis' getting out of my mom's car. Everyone was looking at her (as usual) except for one group who were continuing unbothered. There were three girls and three boys. Probably all paired up. Which was good because as I said earlier, I don't want a boyfriend. When I got out of my thoughts almost everyone was gone. Perfect I thought heading for class. As I thought I got lost and came to class 15 minutes late. When I arrived everyone's eyes on me. "I-I'm sorry. I'm new and I-I got lost'' She looked at me with a death stare. Oh s**t. "Kira Jones?" "yes ma'am" she smiles at me "please I'm Mrs. Gen, now sit down dear" I look around and see the group is in the same class. One of the boys from the group looks at me with interest. Or is it disgust? But then he smiles at me and I'm all over the moon. One girl from the group waves at me and taps the bench on her left. I smile and sit beside her and Mrs. Gen starts talking about some Greek gods. "So you're new huh?" "yeah" I smile "I know that everyone must be telling you this, but cool hair" I look at her shocked. "what?" is this some mean joke or what? Why would such a beautiful girl be complimenting me? She has long dark brown hair laying on her shoulders, dark green and a nice and warm smile. I look at her dumbfounded. She looks at me genuinely not knowing what I'm so shocked about. "well no. I actually got bullied because of it" I whispered "what?! That must have been really hard" she sounded so worried "nah, they were just jealous jerks" I whispered casually "wow you're tough" "thanks" I smiled. She is so nice! "I'm Lucia, but call me Lucy" "Kira, call me… Kira" "Wanna go sit with us at lunch?" "Yes!" I whisper shout "Miss Jones?" says Mrs. Gen. Oh s**t. Alex's pov: "Hi mom!" "good morning my little alpha" she grins and I chuckle "mom I'm not eighteen yet" "yeah, you're still my baby boy" I chuckle, take my lunch and keys. "bye mom" I peck her on her cheek and head out to our garage. I get into my black lamborghini. My family is very rich like every werewolf families in town. I would become eighteen in two weeks but I haven't found my mate yet. When you're a werewolf you phase when you're seventeen years old and you can finally find your mate. My future Beta James has already found his mate Laura and my future Gamma Harry has Annabeth, but I have even as their future Alpha don't have a clue about who mine could be. Every human girl and she wolves at my feet but I've been in a relationship with a few of them. We never did anything more than kiss, and I never felt anything. Not even the slightest much as James and Harry felt for their mates. I arrived at school, got out of my car and immediately caught an amazing lavender scent. I sniffed in the air and it directed me to this gorgeous girl with tattoos all over her arms. I felt like my heart just did a backflip. It's her! It's my mate! My BFF Lucy wakes me up from my thoughts. "What are you thinking about?" "nothing" I answered "let's get to class" my mate frowned at a blonde girl who looked like a barbie. I just roll my eyes and go to class. There it is the scent came back and I had to put a hand over my mouth not to let a growl out. She came in the class and apologised to Mrs. Gen and sits down with Lucy and they start a conversation. Perfect my mate and my BFF are already friends. I can't get my eyes off her. Mrs. Gen asks what the name of God's father's name is. She sees my mate and Lucy talking. She smiles and asks her to answer the question she just asked. As if she could feel my stare, she turned around and looked me in the eyes. I get lost in her eyes. It's like a labyrinth which I can't find my way out. She is completely clueless. "Kronos, his name is Kronos" I said with confidence. Kira's pov: I feel the heat of someone's stare on my shoulder. I turn around to my left to face the most gorgeous boy I've ever seen. Black short hair and dark skin that shines in the sun. I got lost in his eyes till someone called me "miss Jones. Could you please answer my question?" oh no, oh no no no no no. I have no idea what she said! "Kronos. His name is Kronos" the gorgeous boy said. Is he covering for me? "that question wasn't for you mister gold- however the answer is right. Kronos was the father of... Do you at least know who his kids are?" at least I heard her. I know a lot about Greek gods "it's Zeus, Poseidon, Hades.... " I named all his children in perfect order. "thank you miss Jones" I smile. "So you're not completely dumb" he chuckles "I'm sorry mister 'funny' boy" I say irony obvious in my tone. "So you can be sarcastic huh? I like that" he says. Blows me a kiss and winked at me. I feel my cheeks heating up. Is he hitting on me? Nobody ever liked me like that. And why am I reacting in THAT way? What is happening to me?! I DON'T want a boyfriend. "So?" I asked him with irony "You're gonna tell me your name?" omg! He wants to know my name! OK keep it cool Kira. "Only if I'll get yours" he grins "miss Jones and mister Gold please pay attention" Mrs. Gen says "Sorry Mrs. Gen it won't happen again" the boy says and smirks at me. I roll my eyes. We finish the classes until the bell rings to signalise lunch. I take my lunch and see Lucy waving at me and gesturing to sit beside her and her friends. "hi Lucy!" "hello girl!" she comes over to me and hugs me. I hug her back and she smiles at me wholeheartedly and introduces me to the others. "Guys, this is my best friend Kira. Kira, this is Annabeth" she pointed to a gorgeous girl with blond long hair "her maa- I mean…boyfriend Harry" she points at a boy with brown short hair "this is James and his girlfriend Laura" she points to a cute couple on the right. A boy with long brown hair and a girl with black braided hair "and finally my best friend-" "Alex" he says grinning at me. "Wait. You two aren't a couple?" I ask dumbfounded "ME and ALEX?!?!?!" she laughs "We're more like twins. Our moms are best friends since high school" "I'm free for you if you want me though" Alex said. "oh thank you Missster Gold" I say it in the same annoying way as Mrs. Gen says it. "ohhhh'' everyone at the table looks at me and laughs. My sister comes into the Cafeteria and kills the fun as always. She already has two minions behind her taking her lunch and sitting down by a table while she goes down to us. She sits down on Alex's lap and smiles at him "hi pretty boy" I feel jealousy bubbling in my blood Alex looks at me and smirks. As if he knew what I was feeling. "Get off" Alex says casually. "What???" my sister looks at him in shock. Nobody, and I mean nobody ever dumped or even said no to her. I can't help but giggle "Do I amuse you princess" I blush and look at my sister and get an idea "maybe…. mister pretty boy" he chuckles and looks at Elizabeth and says "I said get off" My sister looks at him and says "you don't know what you're missing" and storms out her minions running behind her. I finish my classes and when the bell rings, I pack my books and head out. I see Lucy and her group. She runs over to me and hugs me. "See you tomorrow sweetheart" she says "see you tomorrow Lucy" she waves at me and runs back just as Alex comes. "Hi mister" I tell him in an ironic way "Hello princess" I roll my eyes "what up?" "wanna ride with me?" "wow wow wow boi that's a little quick isn't it?" "well if you don't want to then don't" he walks off, his pink, full lips brush against my cheek. I heat up and squeal. "I heard that" "Shut up" I put on my headphones, listen to some music and run home. While running all I can think of is pretty boy. What is he doing to me? Alex's pov: She's mine and I love her. I lightly brushed my lips against her cheek. It feels magical I have to shut my mouth not to growl so loud that everyone in the parking lot would hear it. I get in my car and ride home. I get back home smiling. My mom looks at me and asks me "what happened baby boy? You haven't looked this happy since… ever" "oh it's nothing" I walk up to my room and hop up on my bed just wishing my Kira would be here with me lying on me cuddling with me. I look out from my window and a miracle happens. I see My Kira running outside. Probably heading home. I hop out from my bed again and my wolf side forces me to run out walking behind her. I follow her to her house and ring the bell. My gorgeous mate's mom opens the door. "Hi I'm Alex, Kira's friend" "oh come in Alex so nice to meet you "
