Chapter 10

My heart was pounding in my chest as I looked myself over once more. I was so nervous it showed as I shook in front of the mirror. Marcus and Patric where doing the last of there homework as Esmeralda was helping me get ready.

“Its okay Mom. You look beautiful.” She smiled happily. I smiled with her but that didn’t help my nerves. I quickly found my purse and made sure I had enough money for supper tonight. I knew that was not going to be the case. If it wasn’t them paying for me and the children’s things it was Andrew. I was thankful as none of them would allow me to work outside the pack. I mean Caiden and Cameron growled whenever they saw me doing house work.

“Are you sure I look okay?” I asked once more. Esmeralda looked at me and smiled.

“If my dad and Alphas eyes look anywhere but you they should be burned. You will be the prettiest women there.” She said with a chuckle. I laughed with her praying they wouldn’t be looking at anyone but me. I know I shouldn’t get excited as there mate is out there but my heart just kept beating for them. Every time someone looked at them or told me they where with another women my heart breaks. Oh I should also mention I want to rip them apart to. Yep up and down emotions, cant be good.

“Av?” A gently voice spoke as they nocked on the door. I sighed gently as I looked at the beautiful royal purple cocktail summer dress I wore. It wasn’t flashy but a casual dress. I wore a cream wedge that tied up my calf a little ways. My wallet was cream color to match.

“Come in.” I gently said as I sighed and turned to the door. Man can Camron clean up. He was in a button up shirt with a dark wash Jean on. His dress shoes where clean and his hair was slicked back like Danny from Hawaii 5-O. He spotted me and his jaw dropped. Caiden walked in an picked it up.

“Staring at a lady like that makes them blush and shy away dear brother.” He smiled as he looked over at me. He looked identical to his twin other then he had a crisp white button up collared shirt on with blue dress pants. There where light lines of black on them forming like a checker board outline. He wore black dress shoes. I am now feeling slightly under dressed. These guys looked like they had a date with a celebrity and here I am dressed for a simple friend party.

“Well brother seems someone is out dressing us tonight.” Cameron spoke as he finally smiled. This made me blush hard. I felt like my face was on fire.

“See brother what I tell you.” Caiden chuckled as he walked over to me. “A beautiful lady such as yourself should never be found in his presence.”

“Oh.” I spoke kind of confused.

“Your beauty will just go to waist.” He smiled as he grabbed my wallet and passed it to Esmeralda. “You my beauty are not going to need that.”

“Oh really.” I smiled looking up at him. I don’t know where I was getting the courage from but with them I felt so safe. I knew they weren’t going to hurt me.

“Yep, the big guy over there has a wallet over flowing with millions. We will be asking him for the money tonight.” Caiden smiled as he led me away from the room. I just smiled as I followed him. Cameron was walking behind us.

“Oh baby there you are.” Olivia’s high pitch voice called over the floor. My heart dropped realising I was getting excited for a date with the two drop dead gorgeous men and they still have there mate out there.

“Oh boy.” Cameron spoke as he scooped me up and raced me down the stairs as Caiden turned to Olivia. I frowned gently knowing he probably had feelings for her being as she was his first. It also didn’t help she didn’t like me but I really wanted to rip her apart for calling out to him. Man these mix emotions can really tire you out. “Don’t your worry baby.”

“Hmmm.” I spoke liking how baby fell of his lips for me. Oh if this is not the bond I am actually going to die. For weeks I have been so happy to be in there lives and now I don’t know what will happen if they kick me out.

“Oh someone is happy.” He said.

“When I am with you guys I just feel so safe. Like nothing will ever happen to me.” I told him gently as I turned to look at him. He was smiling wildly as I saw his eye color changing from black to the beautiful ocean blue. “I have waited so long to finally feel peace.”

“Well baby this is only getting started.” Caiden spoke as he stole me away from his brother. Cameron’s jaw dropped again before he raced after us.

There in the driveway waited a beautiful all black Mercedes limo. It was breath taking. Both boys grabbed a hand and led me down to the door. The driver or passenger opened it for us and we walked in. I was seated in the middle as they both sat on either side of me. They each wrapped there hand in one of mine causing me to shiver in excitement mostly because the beautiful feeling of the sparks.

“Where are we going?” I asked gently.

“Well our work is having a party and we thought you should join us.” Caiden spoke a little embarrassed.

“Oh no.” I said a little nervous. I cant do that. There will be lots of people who look to them as there boss. This is the job of there Luna, there mate. Not some scrawny omega they just accepted into the pack.

“Don’t worry babe. You will be at one of our sides all night. Don’t you worry.” Cameron said giving me a squeeze.

“But this is the job of the Luna to be.” I spoke scared. Olivia already hated me. I don’t need her hating me more.

“It is.” Caiden spoke looking at me with a smile. Like his brother, his ocean blue eyes held mine. He had a twinkle of love in there for me something I had prayed for though I knew I could never be. Moms words playing in my head of what the fortune teller told her of there mate. “You are perfect for this. I have never met a better soon to be Luna then you sweet cheeks.”

“What?” I asked confused. He looked a little confused just as his brother did. The one that was confused was me. What was actually going on. We where quiet for a moment before the car came to a stop. The doors where opened for us allowing me to step out. I could tell the boys where having a talk with there wolves. It still pained me I couldn’t but I am slowly getting over it.

“Are they coming Luna?” The gentlemen at the door asked. I nodded just as Cameron’s arms snaked around me.

“Sorry we where having a conversation.” He smiled at the guy. I nervously laughed as he pushed me towards the door. I don’t really know if I can do this. I was so worried.

“Av is everything okay?” Cameron asked.

“You seem to be upset.” Caiden said walking up beside us. I just nodded even though I latched onto his hand. I was scared and he was the only one I could trust. Caiden looked at his brother before his worried face fell on me. He placed a hand on the small of my back causing some of the worry to disappear. I looked over at him worried. I mean I am a kick ass mom but here I felt like a ant about to enter a grasshopper layer. I wish I had courage like Flint did from Antz but right now there is nothing.

“Avnisha can we ask you something?” Cameron asked a little worried. I nodded as we just stood there.

“You don’t have a wolf do you?” Caden asked. How to answer this?

“I have a wolf just not one I can talk to like you guys.” I gently spoke after a few moments.

“Sweet pea.” Cameron sighed gently as he pulled me into his chest. The buttons laying on my cheek but I didn’t care. I looked at both of them as it seemed the worry had left them.

“Is something wrong?” I asked upset. Now my nerves where skyrocketing. Did I do something wrong? Maybe they didn’t realize this and didn’t want me part of the pack. I knew they would kick me out, I wish I hasn’t fallen for them as hard as I did. I felt my self shutter trying to push away from Cameron who only held me tighter.

“No baby nothing is wrong.” Caiden quickly reassured me as he stepped over to us. He placed a hand on my shoulder causing me to look up at him.

“Baby our wolves have been going crazy for you.”

“We thought maybe they had gotten it wrong as you never showed your emotions back.”

“They are so sure that you are there mate they are hurting.”

“We couldn’t figure out why and have been going crazy.” Caiden spoke as he squished me gently between them.

“Your my mates?” I asked confused.

“Yes baby.” Cameron gently chuckled.

“So the sparks, the relaxed feeling and always feeling safe when your with me is all part of being mates?” I asked gently feeling embarrassed I didn’t know any of this.

“You feel that?” Caiden asked with so much pride and love in his eyes as he looked down at me. I nodded happily with a smile on my face.

“Yes baby that is the bond.” Cameron gently said kissing the top of my head.

“I’m sorry for making your wolves hurt.” I spoke quietly. They squished me even more before stepping back.

“You have done nothing wrong baby.” Caiden spoke as he grabbed my hand and led me towards the door. “Now our Luna let’s go party and enjoy. Don’t worry, you’re a born natural.”

“Plus one of us will always be at your side.” Cameron gently whispered in my ear. I smiled as a pleasant shiver went down my back. Them being my mates make me so happy I forget where we are going till the door was open and there where more then one thousand eyes on me. Oh I so cant do this. Caiden and Cameron put a reassuring hand on the small of my back as they led me in. We took a seat at the table that was laid at the far wall. They sat on either side of me as I sat in the middle. I didn’t feel right about it but the guys wouldn’t hear it.

“Your attention please.” Cameron called out to the group. Everyone took there seats quickly before turning to him. Him and Caiden both stood up with a drink in there hands.

“We want to personally thank each and every one of you. Without your hard work this company would not be successful.” Caden said happily. “You are the pages for this company and we are your spine. A book couldn’t be written without those pages much like this company cant run without you.”

“We want to thank your families for putting up with you this year. I definitely see some wife’s/husbands glaring at me.” Cameron said as a few people chuckled. “No seriously, if this table wasn’t between all of us I’m sure they would take a chunk out of me.”

“That being said we did it. Your hard work has paid off and we have been able to branch out of multi million dollar company to over 6 different locations. This means some of you will have a bit more work a little further away from home but I promise we will make it as easy as possible for you.” Caiden spoke as he rose his glass. “Now let’s toast to you, our employees, or friends and the only reason this company is so successful because we have to be honest Cameron is useless.”

“Hey.” Cameron piped up but it wasn’t hear over everyone’s laughter.

“Alpha Caiden who’s the beauty you got beside you?” Someone called out causing both Alphas to growl. I began to blush before they reached there hand out to help me rise from my chair.

“This is Luna Avnisha.” Cameron spoke proud.

“Our long awaited mate.” Caiden beamed as they both turned to me causing me to blush some more. No wonder Esmeralda felt so close to me and Luna felt so at peace. They could feel the mate pull between me and the Alphas. Yes the bond doesn’t just affect your mates, it also affects there family.

“It a pleasure to be standing before you. By the way the Alphas have made there speech I know this company is in trusted hands. You all should be proud and hold your self high even if it is for tonight. You deserve it.” I gently spoke as everything got quiet for a little to long. “I hope to get to know each and everyone of you as well as my mates and Alphas do. It surely is an Honor to be standing here in front of you. I hope to able to live up to the expectations you have for me.”

“The honor is ours Luna.” Someone called.

“You have already passed out expectations.” Another called.

“I don’t feel we are special enough to have you stand with us.” A few other spoke.

“If what the Alphas have said about you is true then you don’t have to worry.” I smiled to them all lovingly. How I have always wished to be accepted like this. “You all are more then special enough to be here.”

“Luna.” They all started chanting and clapping for me as I sat down.

“See what we mean baby, you are more then capable to be there Luna.” Caiden spoke as he planted a kiss on my cheek.
