Twins Defeat

Chapter 13

I woke up a little before the children whom where nothing but tangled limbs. Andrew was gone but I knew it had to be other Beta work or he was on a run. I sighed, I would love to shift right now and run. Haven't shifted since the fight with Scott and I sure do miss it. I mean I am lucky as I don’t have the voice nagging me everyday to switch though I know I would do anything to make my wolf side happy.

“Morning Mom.” Marcus happily said as he rubbed his eyes. Esmeralda shot up as well causing Patric to just flop on his back. My little boy could honestly sleep through anything but once up he was up. Forcing him for naps never happened. He was like a little Energizer bunny, always going and never stopping.

“Good Morning.” I smiled happily as they both got up and untangled themselves from me. They then helped move Patric to the middle of the bed so I could get up. The arms wrapped around me with smiles on there face.

“Mom, no school and it’s beautiful can we go for a run?” Markus asked gently. I was upset instantly. I forgot they hadnt had a chance to shift either and much longer ago then I.

“Absolutely honey. We just need to eat and wake Patric.” I told him. Marcus smiled as he let me go and raced to lie down beside his brother. He began to tickle him.

“No Marcus.” Patric whined as he rolled away from his brother. This caused me to smile. Patric loved his brother as much as he loved me and we where the only ones that knew tickling him would partially wake him the other was…

“But food is getting cold.” Marcus said gently.

“I’m up.” Patric said as he whipped himself to a sitting position. He looked around before his eyes fell on me. He quickly got up and jumped into my outstretched arms. “Morning mommy.”

“Good morning love. Come let’s go get some breakfast.” I smiled happily as I took Esmeralda’s hand and led them out of the room. A young omega waited outside the door.

“Luna Avnisha.” She gently spoke with a bow. “The Alphas wanted me to tell you to take it Easy today and they are in the office if you need them.”

“Thank you miss…” I started to say.

“Arishka.” She spoke shyly.

“Ari please leave the room the way it is. Mom will come back and watch more movies tonight.” Esmeralda said gently. Arishka nodded gently with a smile.

“When you done here could you take a message to the Alpha and my brother.” I asked not wanting her work to be disrupted.

“Anything for the Luna.” She smiled wildly.

“Let them know I wish to take the children on a run if he could approve it.” I told her. She nodded before excusing herself into the room to clean up. Patric looked at me excited. He loved the feeling of the wind on his face from my back. He was still to young to shift but if he was like his brother it would only be three years before he did.

“I smell bacon.” Patric excitedly bounced in my arm. I laughed gently as I put him down. He raced off with Esmeralda and Marcus. I of course followed before arms snaked around me at the top of the stairs.

“I honestly don’t see why food is so much more important then the beauty I got in my arms.” Cameron smiled as he kissed me cheek.

“Honestly, depending on the food I could see it.” I smiled happily before we looked at each other and said bacon. We laughed as we walked down the stairs together.

“Good morning Alpha, Luna.” Christine spoke happily with a gentle bow. I smiled happily at her as she passed us a clean plate each. “The table is full of breakfast. Everyone else has eaten.”

“Thank you Christina.” Cameron happily said as he led me to the dining room. I was amazed at how clean it was. I mean werewolves eat a lot but we can sometimes be messy when where hungry. There is never any evidence of that here. The children where happily eating.

“Hey Alpha.” Patric smirked in between his chewing.

“Patric.” Cameron said with a bit of a frown. Patric quickly chewed before swelling.

“Sorry,” He said all cute causing us both to chuckle at him. I was let to a chair across from the three of them Cameron sitting beside me.

“Moms taking us for a run dad. Are you going to join us?” Esmeralda asked gently.

“Is she now, well I cant pass up seeing her beautiful wolf again.” Cameron smirked devilishly at me. I blushed real bad as I turned away from them to try and calm my cheeks.

“Now what you do? Leave you alone for 5 minutes and you got her blushing like a tomato.” Caiden chuckled as he came in and kissed my cheek as he sat in a chair on the other side of me. He began to load my plate with food before he started on his own. I smiled as I picked up the bacon and took a bit. He smiled happily as Cameron grumbled beside me. I leaned over and kissed his cheek causing him to just melt.

“Daddy bad.” Esmerelda giggled before we all started laughing. Patric was oblivious to what was going on but Marcus had his brain working. I knew he was trying to figure out what was going on. We soon quieted down to finish our breakfast. Christina was having none of me doing our dishes as she shooed me out of the kitchen. Marcus and Esmeralda grabbed my hands and lead me outside. Patric was in Caidens arms.

“Wheres Cam?” I asked gently.

“Went to get Andrew. Our Beta has been dying to see your wolf.” Caiden chuckled. “We explained it to him and he still cant picture it.”

“Oh.” I smiled happily. I took Marcus to the forest where he quickly stripped his clothing brought them over to me. He phased quickly before running out to Esmeralda who came to me and did the same.

“I cant phase without dads help.” Esmeralda spoke upset and shy. I smiled as I placed there clothing on a stump. A father can help them change but it’s a mother that can open the opportunity for them to shift whenever they want.

“Don’t worry sweetheart. Mom is hear.” I smiled at her as I embraced her. She hugged me back tightly before she rotated so her back was on my chest. I closed my eyes and thought of my wolf. When I felt her start to come to me I thought of Esmeralda and began to pull her to wolf with my own wolf power.

‘Mommy.’ She wiggled happily under me as I lifted myself off her. She was red with darker patches here and there. Her big brown eyes looked up at me as she nuzzled my neck. I gently leaned my head down and lovingly rubbed it against her. She barked happily before running out of the forest I smiled happily before I followed her.

“Holy mother of Pearl’s.” Andrew exclaimed when he saw me. He was so shocked he fell backwards on his rump. Caiden and Cameron where also in awe as they all stared at me.

“Come on Alpha, I want to run.” Patric said slapping Caiden in the chest. I barked my disapproval at him but he didn’t care. Caiden walked over and placed him on my back before my mates raced off into the forest to faze.

‘Hurry or you will be left behind.’ I barked to Andrew who was still staring at me. I stepped over and licked his cheek causing two growls to escape the forest. This had Andrew moving.

‘Mommy.’ Esmeralda spoke as she trotted over and rubbed up against my leg. I smiled happily as I gently nudged her. Marcus trotted over as well. He was dark grey with black splotches everywhere. When he Grey up he would be completely black. Most Alpha born male pup always where black. There where the occasional dark Grey almost black ones but they where more uncommon then common. If you where not born Alpha but given the position you could be almost any wolf color and your pups would be the same. Only those with Alpha blood would be Black or Dark Grey. Alpha females work in almost the same way if there born Alpha. Really the only way to be an Alpha female is if both parents are born Alphas. We where always white or light Grey. And yes we are very rare. We are considered royalty in a way. They have said we are kissed by the moon goddess. Now there has been the occasional time a white wolf Luna is born to an Alpha male and non Alpha female. My mother was one of them but both her parents where supper strong.

‘Mom.’ Marcus growled worried as he came an removed a tear from my face. I looked at him and nudged him.

‘I’m okay baby.’ I barked back gently. He shook his head as he rubbed his head up against my muzzle.

“Mommy crying again.” Patric asked as he leaned down and wrapped his arms as far around my neck as he could. It wasn’t very far as I was so big and he was so little still but it helped comfort me.

‘Come.’ I smiled at the two pups as we stepped into the forest a little further down from where we had been changing. I knew the boys would catch up. I started out slow allowing Patric to adjust as he needed to Plus with Esmeralda I didn’t know what speed we could go. Marcus could keep up to me no problem but I wasn’t leaving a pup behind.

‘Race you.’ Esmeralda barked as she whizzed pass Marcus. He barked after her causing Patric to giggle on my back. I picked up speed to keep up to the two before we came to a halt at the edge of a clearing that lead down to a river bank. I put Patric down before I stepped out and looked around. Yes I know deer are the ones that do this but you would be surprised how many hunters are out trying to catch a glimpse of werewolves. They wouldn't hesitate to shot us if they could. I would survive a bullet but my little ones wouldn’t.

I edged closer to the river keeping my ears, eyes and nose always working. When I felt it safe I barked to the children who came running out carefully. What I didn’t expect was my brothers large grey wolf come tumbling out of the bush. He literally took me out sending me flying into the water along with him.

‘Dylan.’ I growled to him as I finally found my feet. Well all this was short lived as one of my mates jumped on me sending me into the water further.

‘Casper.’ One of my mates growled. As he got closer I knew it was Cam. Caiden bounced out of the water and jumped on him.

‘Casey.’ He chuckled happily before he bounced further into the water. ‘Look I can be an alligator.’

‘Daddy.’ Esmeralda called as both her and Marcus jumped in on him. I chuckled as I emerged from the water heading up to Patric who was looking at everyone in amazement.

“I want to do that to mommy.” He said all happy. “Can I play in the water?”

I nodded my head as I nudged him forward gently. Casey came up and collected him before he put him on Dylan’s back. I barked happily as I shook my fur of water and laid down by the river and watched them. Well this didn’t last long as Casper came and jumped on my getting me all wet once more. I just jumped up at him causing us both to be in a chase of course ending in the water.

“Mommy who that?” Patric said pointing out a creature in the bush. We had been out here for a few hours and where all drying off in the sun before heading home.

I stood up and stepped closer to the three of them. Marcus and Esmeralda felt me move right away and scurried under me. It was a wolf and I couldn’t tell if it was friend or foe. Well when three or four more heads popped out teeth bared I knew it was foe. Casper, Casey and Dylan where now on there feet in front of me.

‘I thought the patrol said the area was safe.’ Casey snapped Dylan whimpered. I snapped with a growl to Casey who only slightly shuttered.

‘All that matters right now is if they attack we protect Avnisha and the pups.’ Casper growled his warning. I nudged the pups closer to me specially Patric who just wrapped his arms around my nose.

‘Easy baby we are here.’ I whined to him.

“Mommy I’m scared.” He gently cried.

‘Its okay Patric I’m here.’ Marcus barked to him as he wiggled into his brothers embrace allowing my head free. Marcus was the size of Patric so it was like Patric squeezing a human of the same age.

‘Well well well, look what we found boys.’ One of the wolves barked happy.

‘Get of our territory rouge.’ Casey growled his annoyance.

‘Oh isn’t this great, not only do we find the murders of Lunas but we find her brother and two mange mutts with her.’ The same wolf spoke.

‘This mutt will teach you where I stand.’ Casey growled causing Casper and Dylan to growl with him. The rouge threw up his head and howled. Out of the bush jumped a few more rouges that began to attack.

Scott led a small warrior group out of the bush as the rouges where on us. He took out one getting close to me before turning and taking out another. A younger brown wolf with an autumn one came and stood right close to me and the children. The brown would attack anything getting close as the autumn one kept the children close to me as she kind of hid close to me. She seemed really young though warrior. Once a rouge got to close she jumped at it and took it down with ease.

I quickly jumped from the protection and took out a rouge about to jump on my mate. I snapped his neck before sending him into one after my other mate. The aura of a stronger wolf got close to me causing my head to whip around and get ready to fight.

‘So you’re the wolf my queen has been looking for.’ He growled annoyed. I growled right back knowing they where apart of the curse that has been following me.

‘What is it she wants?’ I snarled.

‘For you to join her coven and leave these weak mutts to there own.’ He said proudly.

‘And if I refuse.’

‘You have no option.’ He growled before pouncing. I met him head on as I snapped at his muzzle. He was quick but not as quick as I as his face moved to my fur. I managed to collide with him and force his face away. Well needless to say I didn’t think we would come down as fast as we did. He was on his feet I was on my side due to the angle for which I was to stop him from biting me. When he tried to snap at me Marcus jumped in and grabbed his ear.

‘Touch my mom I kill you.’ He growled as I quickly rose. The rouge snapped at him causing me to snap back. He wasn’t fazed as he charged at Marcus, oh was I right mad now. I jumped at him and grabbed the tuff on his neck. Rolling off his back I tossed him into a tree. Marcus came up to stand in front of me once again. He looked at me to make sure I was okay though blood was dripping from my teeth.

‘She will find you and when she does you will wish you came easy.’ The wolf howled before retreating. He took what was left of the wolves with him. I carefully laid down beside Marcus who came and snuggled up to me. Esmerelda and Patric soon joined with the autumn one close in toe.

‘Baby.’ Casper cried as he literally head butted me causing me to whinny well that had Casey on him faster then I could speak. Dylan came and laid beside me. His head on my legs allowing me to rest my head on him.

‘Why does she want you?’ He whined gently.

‘I wish I knew.’ I spoke.

‘Luna are you okay?’ Scott’s wolf asked worried. I nodded my head as it looked like a sigh escaped him. ‘we will follow and see if we can get any info from them or capture one or two more.’

‘Thank you.’ I gently whinned to him causing them to bow there heads and leave. The brown and autumn wolf staying back.

‘Come let’s get you home.’ Dylan barked as he got up. I followed his actions as someone placed Patric on my back. He hugged me close as we walked away. The two warriors staying close to me as Dylan lead us. We took turns changing other then me who already was wearing clothing and the warriors as they went back to find the Alphas and Scott.

‘Please be careful.’ I mind linked my loves.

‘We are close love.’ Caiden spoke as he wrapped his arms around me. Cameron grabbed my hand causing me to smile.

“Scott’s got everything under control.” Cameron said with a smile. “Come, I’m sure supper is ready.”
