Andrew finished the tour by the time I heard my name being called. He smiled at me as I ran through the pack house where both my babies where waiting for me at the front door. They raced over hugging me tight before Esmeralda joined them. “Mommy mommy I learned so much at school today.” Patric excitedly exclaimed. He was jumping up and down. “Did you behave?” I asked gently. “I was mommys perfect little boy.” He smiled wildly. I just chuckled as we where being ushered to the kitchen. “How was your day?” I said looking at Markus. “I was worried about you. We had to leave before you woke up.” He spoke a little upset. I stopped and pulled him close to me. He held me just as tight. “I know Marcus and yes I was worried but your uncle and Cameron where here to reassure me.” I said with a smile. “I promise to never leave again till your awake mom.” He said holding me tight. “Its okay sweetheart.” I said as I knelt down in front of him. “It’s going to take me some time to get use to you guys going to school. I want you to have perfect grades so no being late Alright.” “Okay mom.” He smiled as he wrapped his arms around my neck. I hugged him back as I lifted him and walked into the dining room. There where many snacks things laid out on the table where all the children who went to school got to eat. Marcus went and sat beside Esmeralda and Patric whom was talking to another little boy. “Hey.” Cameron said placing a hand on my right shoulder as his body came up around my left. We where standing in the door way. “Where have you been?” I asked looking up at him with a smile. He was frowning. “I’m sorry about this morning. I didn’t mean to over step my boundaries.” “Oh that, no don’t worry.” He said with a slight chuckle. Something was wrong. “What’s wrong. Did the boys do something wrong?” I asked now getting a little worried. “No no no.” Cameron quickly said. “Sorry I was having a conversation with the doctor in charge of my mother.” “Oh,” I spoke gently upset I was bothering him. “He says it’s not good.” Cameron frowned. “Would you come and meet her. I mean I know you just got here but Esmeralda is so happy around you.” “Sure. Will the boys be okay here?” “They will come to. I’m sure they will behave and my mom loves children as much as you.” He smiled happily as he reached in and kissed my cheek. I was shocked as I looked at him. “Oh my goodness. I’m sorry. I was just so excited.” “Its okay.” I said trying to calm my beating heart. His lips felt so good against my skin. “I understand.” “Oh good. Jesus I’m such a dork.” Cameron chuckled causing me to smile. He helped me get the children’s homework done before we jumped into his Mercedes and left for the human hospital. “Mom gets to meet grandma?” Esmeralda spoke happily. Cameron nodded at her though I was so nervous. “My grandma has cancer that none of the doctors here can heal.” “But why ship her to the human hospital.” Marcus spoke. “Since she lost grandpa, grandma is more human then wolf. She doesn’t phase as much and healing takes longer.” Esmeralda spoke. “That’s horrible.” Patric said. “Mommy kiss her she be all better. I all better when mom kissed my bobo's.” “This cant be fixed with a kiss sweet pea.” I gently told him but it didn’t help. The three got into a discussion the rest of the way. This hospital was huge and very clean. It was mixed human and werewolf staff which was great. A nurse knew us and walked us up to the VIP room for the Luna. My heart sank when I saw her through the window. “Esmeralda why don’t you take Av in and I’ll sit out here with the boys.” Cameron spoke as I felt him tense up. I grabbed his hand gently and kissed his cheek. He calmed down instantly and looked at me. “I was hoping it would help.” I smiled as I followed Esmeralda into the room. The Luna looked so weak and fragile. Esmeralda brought me right up to her. “Esmeralda,” She gently spoke. “Hi grandma.” Esmeralda smiled happily. “Oh my baby you have someone here with you.” “My new mom.” “Esmeralda.” I gently spoke shaking my head. “Grandma said I could have anyone I want and I chose you.” She spoke stern and I just smiled. “Please sweetheart let her. She hasn’t had a mom since she was born and with me being sick she needs someone.” The Luna spoke. “I could never replace you.” I spoke gently. “Oh dear girl no one can replace a grandma but a grandma. She needs a women to be her mom. If she is happy with you I will not complain.” She spoke happily. I smiled to her as Esmeralda sat in my lap. “Grandma we miss you.” She said once comfy. “Oh I miss my girl to.” The Luna spoke gently. “But not much that can be done.” “Does anyone come to see you?” I asked looking at how lonely the room is. “The occasional nurse.” She chuckled before coughing. “Its so dull here. I miss the children.” “This is no good for you.” I spoke gently as I stood up. “What’s your favorite color.” “Oh my favorite color is the drawings my grandchild has made me.” She smiled happily as I smiled at her. I could see the pictures and knew right away what I wanted to do. Closing my eyes I held my hands out in front of me and imagined the walls with those pictures. “No way.” Esmeralda exclaimed as I opened the my eyes to witness the pictures. The Luna had tears in her eyes. “If there is one thing I know it’s how much worse white walls can make a person feel when they are trying to fight.” I spoke gently. Esmeralda ran to me and helped me back to the chair we where on. She carefully snuggled into me. “You can do that.” The Luna spoke looking around. I could see the color coming back to her as her memories of each of these picture. It brought warmth to my heart I was able to do something. “Now Grandma fight. You got my photos looking at you.” Esmeralda said happily. “Thank you, oh I am such a lucky Luna to have a member like you apart of my sons pack.” She exclaimed as she reached for my hand. I filled it happily. “The only thing that would make it happier is if you where there mate. Oh how I wish to see her. There’s and Andrew. That boy has been through so much.” “I promise I will help them find there mates for you and we will bring them here the moment we do.” I told her squeezing her hand. “Find Andrew’s family. That boy has been nothing without them.” She spoke. “He doesn’t have far to go.” I smiled happily as her face went from a smile to shock. “Your Avnisha.” She exclaimed so happily. I nodded causing her to squeal. She reached out her hands to me. Esmeralda got up so I could come closer to her. She pulled me in and held me so tight. “Andrew has done nothing but talk about you it feels like I have a daughter back.” “I hope it was all good.” I chuckled once she let me go. “Oh sweet pea.” She cried happily as she tried to sit up. I helped her gently making sure the pillows where behind her. “I am so happy to have you here. Now you promise, Esmeralda and you have to visit every day or every other day.” “I think we can make that work." A voice said from the door. I turned to see my boys come running as Cameron stood looking at us. “Cameron son. What took you so long?” She cried happily as he came over and hugged her. “Sorry mom was talking with the doctors.” He smiled. “I see the VIP room got decorated. I knew you would have something done.” “She did it.” She spoke pointing to me. Marcus turned and glared at me. Patric was looking at the walls with amusement and Cameron had a mixed feeling going on. “Mom.” Markus growled causing me to frown. Esmeralda saw this and smacked his shoulder. “Don’t growl at her.” Esmeralda said as she came and got in my lap once more. “None of you are to give her a hard time. If I find you have I am coming to kick your asses.” She said causing all of us to smile. “Mom who’s the lady?” Patric asked looking at her. She smiled as she reached down for him. Marcus helped her lift him up. “I’m grandma.” She smiled. His face lit up like the forth of July. “Really.” He said happily. “I haven’t had a grandma before.” “Well you are in for a real treat because once I get out of here you will see what grandmas are for.” She smiled gently pinching his cheek. He squealed in excitement. Marcus looked at me worried but I smiled nodding and he relaxed. He walked over to his grandma and hugged her. “Get better soon grandma.” Marcus said. “Well then I better see you daily.” She smiled as we all got up to leave. It made me smile when I saw her smiling. I promised myself she was not going to leave me. “She really likes you.” Cameron said as he pulled me to his side with an arm around me. “I like her.” I smiled happily. He chuckled as he kissed my head. “And to answer your question earlier, yes where twins.” He said. “I’m sorry my focus fell off you.” “No worries. I understand.” I smiled to him though I really didn’t know. He nodded as he got us into the car heading home. “I’m really glad you guys found us.” Cameron said as he drove. “Me too.” I smiled at him. He looked over and grabbed my hand. I smiled as I held onto it gently. I knew what I needed to do. I had to find a way to fight this cancer. I had magic that I could almost do anything with. I should be able to kill it. I just had to figure out what it does, what it is attacking and how to get rid of it. When we got home Caiden, the Alpha, sat me down and explain the work that everyone did. He didn’t push me to do anything to which I was happy but I still decided I would help the omegas with the house cleaning. It kept me in the house as only the Alphas children beta and Gamma where living in the house. Everyone else had homes outside. There where a few warriors but most of them where out early and back late. The way he described some of the jobs he didn’t even want me doing anything. Like he would be happy I sat in my room. I however knew that I had to pull my own weight. I was considered a nobody as I was the newest in pack. The week went by as smooth as it could be. We visited mom every other day, I worked hard daily in the house. When I wasn’t working I was researching on cancer cells and what they did and how to get rid if them. The Alpha's kept close eye on me and if not them it was Andrew. It made me so happy to know he was safe and close. I many have lost so much but him here I felt like I had my world back again. Maybe a little broken but I know it will repair itself. I thank the moon goddess every day because I still feel like I have lost him and every time I wake up to see him my heart sky rockets.
