“I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you when you needed me most.” Andrew sighed as he stopped walking. We where at a small park on the premises. He had shown me some of the houses which where so cute. I wanted one but he told me I wasn’t aloud to leave the pack house. Our tour then went to the hospital to which I was shown the room I was in, the doctor area I could go if I ever needed something checked up and a place for the emergencies. We then proceeded to the pack warrior field. It was empty as most of them where inside at the gym. They fight outside every other day and the other days where inside with the weights. “Its okay Andy, you’re here now and I need you more now then I did then.” I told him as I walked over to him. I parked myself on the bench causing him to do the same. He wrapped me in his arms and pulled me closer to him. “Can you tell me what happened?” He asked after a few minutes. “Nothing good. I think the only good thing was the love those two boys give me.” I sighed gently as I watched a few young children playing. “Everything was peaceful after you left. The only thing that changed was you weren’t there to bug me and your seat was empty. Mom and Dad went on as if you weren’t gone though I knew they missed you. “Two weeks after a letter came in for me. I was so excited I thought it was from you but I was wrong. It was a warning from a pack not to far from us. They where under rouge attack. Saying a witch was after them. Well the rouge took a turn on us two weeks after that. They where after me.” “But….” He spoke holding me tighter. “The witch wasn’t with them.” I reassured him. “And if she was they didn’t get me.” “Why would she be after you?” Andrew asked concerned. “Something about witches belong in her coven not apart.” I said remembering what a rouge said as dad killed it. “Dad was able to catch one and make it talk. Things got worse before they got better. We where outnumbered causing mom and I to run from the pack house. Two warriors at our side. “We ran into a small group of them and with me not able to sense my wolf I was useless. Mom and the warriors fought as I sat there coward. I was so scared and I couldn’t do anything.” “You where 10 Av. You didn’t even have the wolf power you should have.” Andrew spoke holding me tight as I didn’t realise I was shaking. “But I was a warrior. I should have been able to fight but all I did was freeze.” I cried into his chest. He rubbed my back gently trying to sooth me. “Its okay sis.” Andrew spoke gently. “The worst part is I didn’t even know when the battle finished and mom lead me away. She was so wounded.” I kept crying. “There was nothing you could have done for her.” Andrew whispered as I felt his own tears. “You where always moms little Luna. The one that would lead the pack to greatness.” “How can I. I’m a failure.” I said. “I forgot my name, I forgot who I was and I didn’t keep running.” “Its okay Avnisha. Your safe, your alive and nothing in the world would change how proud mom is of you. Sure you forgot but you stayed alive.” He cooed to me. “Remember the one rule.” “To always stay alive.” I whispered. “No matter what happens.” He said kissing the top of my head as he still rubbed my back. “Your alive Av, and to boot you have kept another packs Alphas going to.” “They are from the Infinity Blue Moon pack.” I spoke gently as I leaned up. I cleaned my face with my sleeve before looking at him. “That pack tanked 5 years ago. Said the Alpha went crazy and left.” Andrew spoke confused. “I don’t know how I ended up on there pack but I was in there dungeon for 8 years.” I told him. “The Alpha beat me daily and I was fed horrible food.” “He did what?” Andrew growled. I lifted my shirt to show him the scars. His fingers gently traced a few before he forced my hands down. “it was daily beatings. Some worse then others. His Luna didn’t like what he was doing and would bring me stuff to help. It was mostly food that was edible.” I told him remembering her. “there pack was attacked giving me an opening to get out. I raced to find her but she was wounded with her babies close to her. She told me to run, to raise them and love them as my own. I was to weak to fight so I did the only thing I could do.” “Run.” Andrew spoke finishing the thought. It had been a few moments and I hadn’t said anything. I just nodded as I held up my hands. “I bare the rings of the Lunas.” I told him gently as he grabbed both my hands and looked at the rings. “You where always destined for great things.” Andrew spoke. He was silent for a few minutes as he let my hands go. “I left the pack for training.” “Dad wanted you to be the best Alpha you could be.” I told him dropping my cheek to his shoulder. “No, dad wanted me to be the strongest warrior to protect you.” Andrew sighed. “I was never meant to be Alpha.” “No your first born. You are suppose to take over the position.” I said looking at him. He shook my head. “I never wanted the position.” Andrew confessed. “I wanted to always protect you. I wanted to be the Beta that was at your side forever. To protect you. That’s all I ever wanted.” “But…” “I know. I had talked about being the Alpha but I just didn’t see myself there. You where better at it all. I wanted to be there for my sister. Be the big protective brother.” Andrew chuckled. “Dad sent me to that school for Alpha training but it was all to help you run the pack. We both where to run it together.” “Dad always treated us equally.” I chuckled because it was true. “We knew why you where born you where going to be special.” Andrew smiled. “Those big beautiful Amethyst Eyes of your got us into a lot of trouble.” “Mom use to tell me I got everything I wanted when I pouted.” I chuckled. “Oh that and so much more.” Andrew chuckled with me. “You where our angel.” “And you where my guardian.” I smiled as I held him tight. “I still am sis. And there’s nothing that will change that.” He smiled as he got us to our feet. “Come let’s get you some lunch.” “Sounds good.” I smiled though I wasn’t very hungry. I know it wouldn’t change his mind. He would force me to eat specially with how skinny I was. “After lunch I will give you a tour of the house. Its huge and I know you wont remember everything but at least you will have an idea.” He chuckled as we walked up to the house. The smell of lunch hit me causing my stomach to growl. Well isn’t this a good sign. “Smells like soup.” I smiled as we entered the kitchen. A cook looked over and smiled happily. She raced over and grabbed my hand leading me to the island. She got be up on a stool as she placed a sandwich and soup in front of me. “Tomato soup and grill cheese. Our favorite lunch.” “Absolutely and Christina here makes it the best.” Andrew chuckled. She gently bowed her head before she went back to cleaning up. I took a bite and moaned in pure happiness. He was right, this soup is kick ass. Christina smiled happily as she cleaned. After a few moments Andrew asked the question I had no answer to. “So meeting your wolf everything you expected?” “No.” I sighed putting my spoon down. I placed my hands in my lap as I looked over at him. He was confused. “I don’t have a wolf to talk to.” “What, everyone has a wolf they get to talk to.” Andrew spoke so confused. “Dylan says you have to.” “Mom told me the moon goddess could find one strong enough to pair me. I mean I have a wolf I can phase into but I don’t have a voice in my head to help me.” I spoke upset. “Oh baby sis.” Andrew said jumping from his stool to wrap me. “I’m sorry to hear that.” “I’ve learn to live with it.” I told him as he let me go. “Promise much nicer not having one. All they do is complain.” Andrew said. He looked at his soup before chuckling. “Yours complaining?” I asked gently. Andrew looked at me and nodded. “Says I’m in a lot of shit.” Andrew chuckled causing me to smile. “I’d say you where.” I told him as I began to eat once more. He just chuckled. “Well what does she look like?” Andrew asked all curios. “Pure white with purple strands through her fur.” I smiled happily before I went flying off my chair. Christina had dropped a pan she was drying on the floor. I looked over to her frozen looking at me. She raced over and wrapped me into a hug. Tears flowing from her eyes. I was confused and so was Andrew. “You came back.” She whispered gently. “She too will come when she is strong enough.” “What?” I asked so confused. “Your wolf will come back when she is strong enough.” Christina smiled before she left the room. I was still confused and so was Andrew who looked at me. “I have no idea.” I told him holding my hands up in surrender. He just chuckled as we began to eat again. I cleaned our dishes again once we where done, still thinking over what she had said. I let it go after a few minutes. I came to an understanding I had no wolf to talk to and I didn’t want to get my Hope’s up though I did pray a little it was true. “Come on let’s finish this tour.” Andrew smiled happily as he led me back through the kitchen and dining room and we began our tour. The halls of the house where all beige and many of the rooms where that too. The theatre room was black of course and the pool was white tiled. The offices where separate colors. The Luna matched her room, and the black silver and red where the theme in my brothers office and room. And just like when he was a child it was messy. He told me he normally has it clean but I didn’t believe him.
