I sat in complete silence as Bri straightened my hair and did my makeup for the ceremony.
Bri talked my bloody ear off but I merely nodded or just shrugged to what she had said or asked me.
She did my makeup a nude, natural set but put a dark eyeliner on me that made the green of my eyes pop. Once we were finished with makeup, I went and put on my white heels, sitting on the bed as I slip them on.
"Rhett, can you please say something?" Bri asks quietly, sitting next to me.
"Can you please grab my gown and chords from the closet?"
Bri scoffs and stands, doing what I ask and laying it down next to me. "Y'know, it's not the end of the bloody world. You're going to be okay, Rhett."
I nod and wipe my eyes as they begin to water. "I know, Bri...I just don't know what to do."
