It's been a few days since Alice was found and brought into the pack. I didn't want to put it in this way but wolf could feel it.
Something was wrong with our the bond. It was jumbled and it disturbed me. I was beginning to dislike the fact that this made me care a lot.
Standing at the balcony I watched them below, with one hand one hand braced against the cold stone. I couldn't help but think he was letting her get close to him.
And this was more than he let me come close.
She went everywhere with him, from my observations. And currently, they were moving along the training yard’s edge, with their boots crunching over gravel.
He was talking and actually talking. Not the clipped and controlled commands he gave the guards. Or the distant, careful words he used with me
